    It is, except that's already how Ghost Wolf and Water Walking work on live. This is just a tooltip update. Frankly I think they've worked like this for at least all of BFA, possibly all of Legion as well.

    Only way to balance this shit show.. damn they gutted some of those legendaries to the point that some epic items with use effects in BfA were more exciting. We could see this coming from a mile away, covenant abilities, the few that are still interesting, will be next. Well I guess I won't have to play some shit covenant then after all, so it's a win in a way.

    They funniest thing is, the destroyed several legendaries when at the same time a lot of trinkets, especially for melees, are incredibly overpowered and parse as #2 or #3 in their rotations. It’s hilarious how incompetent Blizzard is in this regard.

    Well they did remove the vendor on torghast (or I'm blind) for now, so I would expect them to be still up for tuning as well. As far as parses go they were also mythic iLvl and raid testing is autoscaled to some floaty number in the ether to begin with, so I wouldn't put too much stock into that for now. But it is true that trinkets are another layer of the system that is incredibly hard to balance, especially with the more creative effects that interact with class toolkits. All these generic systems that can't be balanced for only 1 spec are quite an issue though, as they lack the dials for fine tuning those in any meaningfull way.

    Dude, thats a great change. I rather have an absolute broken Lego nerved, than my class. And sub was way overperforming as is.

    Rather have a choice of legos, than one forcer pick. Now I can atleast enjoy sub without worries of BFA nerfs happening again.


    Also! Nice change to shadow vault. Finally no animation lock.

    The problem with tuning trinkets is that blizzard always do it based on the class a trinket perform well on (while sometimes just forget the only class/specc a trinket does well on). Not the trinket itself. Examples are ALL trinkets with nature/fire/frost components on enhancement shaman. They overrate the amount of mastery shamans can get during an expansion so even hardstacked you do less with these than all other classes and speccs.

    In the long run you just end up wanting the use the same trinkets as everyone else. And to also mention the time since NEVER that tanks actually used tanking trinkets the majority of the time. Not just the very first bosskill, for some solo tanking logthing or because they didn't know better. Make a bigger pool to choose from instead. One of the reasons I liked WoD's classtrinket. They're not giving us real choices anyways so why not take it away all together. Bring back classtrinkets!
