For those lamenting why it wasn't a blowout...I think the days of landslide/mandate elections are over, at least for now. Country is currently too divided.
Just glad a certain someone got banned last night for prematurely celebrating and now we won't have to suffer more civil war talks for a few days at least.

"Patriots" chanting "Stop The Count" because they hate democracy.
PA is now a 4.8% difference. Less than 300k votes.
I hope the reports of the GOP distancing themselves from Trump are true. You won't hear this on the news, but it is the GOP's implicit concession that will decide how long this will drag on for. If they are indeed jumping ship so soon, they will let Trump fizzle out legally on his own and this will be a relatively quick and clean Biden win.
Because RV count can fluctuate a bit (though not as much as votes cast) based on voter enthusiasm. If the goal is to evaluate overall voter enthusiasm, then you should have a denominator that's static with regards to enthusiasm, but dynamic with regards to increases in population.
VEP would be slightly better than VAP, but the VEP number is somewhat subjectively derived. VAP is pretty easy to figure out, though.

Is there a reason why 6 states take significantly longer to get the results out? Just out of curiosity...
They aren't. GOP officials are continuing the ebb and flow of support for Trump, right now ebbing based on a potential loss. But in private.
They're not gonna go hard against him publicly, and as we've seen from the "STOP THE COUNT!" people and the "BIDEN CRIME FAMILY!" guy, his base is still united behind him.
It's wishful thinking, it's the party of Trump now.
They aren't explicitly condemning Trump, but they are saying that there is nothing "fraudulent" about counting every legal vote.

The conspiracy theories already flowing for this election are insane.
There are literally people claiming AS A FACT that Wisconsin had more voters than registered Voters by using 2018 estimate in 2020 and then when confronted with this fact go "Well, then it is nearly 100% of registered voters voted! That's weird" ignoring that it is less than 300K more votes than 2016 meaning 2016 would have also had a high voter turn out.
It appears that Wisconsin just has a higher than average number of people vote. When people say about 60% of registered voters vote, it implies there can be and could be states with nearly 100% of their voters voting. The misunderstanding of statistics is too high. They are the same people who don't understand how polls work and don't realize the polls in 2016 were correct even though Trump won.

Through power I gain victory. Through victory my chains are broken. The Force shall set me free.

If Michigan does go and stay Biden (I'm still not 100%) it will be another of those seat of your pants, thanks Jorgensen and Blankenship wins.
