Trump isn't that smart, and his Twitter feed has been telegraphing how badly he is losing. The fact that he has been suing for shit, and losing almost every single fucking case, means he is throwing shit against the wall, and nothing is sticking.

That's a bit unusual, isn't it? To have a ranked voting system that requires a non-50%+ vote getter before they look at second choices. I thought it went the other direction, that if the first choice didn't reach a minimum amount, then the second choice is used.

Sounds more like French presidential elections than anything else with the Georgia senate vote.

If Trump is out the motivation for Trump's supporters to go vote for Senate will probably be minimal. At least that's what some pundits seem to think.
This kind of thing would be terrific for the Georgia runoff Senate seat(s).

After this election, they will move their Florida effort to GA... Florida is done being the focus of elections... This election ended their relevance as a swing state.

How are those "stop counting the legal votes" suits going? Are they getting mostly tossed out?

Yeah, exactly what I said earlier today. McCain was a popular moderate who criticized Trump, and Trump shat on him before and after his death. And on his widow.

Plus there's also the large Latino population, which is going to be less likely to swing Republican than Cuban voters in Miami Dade for example.

Oh, I forgot to use a clear proper noun first because I was quoting someone else. GA is the state I meant when I said "They" in that first sentence. At least I think that's what your confusion is. If you're confused about what I said after the word, "Maine" I'll try to explain more clearly. They strike whatever candidate got the lowest amount of votes. They then re-tabulate votes. If the candidate who was struck from the re-tally was your first choice, they use your second choice in that re-tally.

    Well let's do PA then.

There are 451,000 votes left in PA and Biden needs to answer the 64,000 question.

There are two counties that are both heavily Biden and also 90% or under complete. There are a ton of red counties, but even though they're all smaller and also almost all closer to being done, at some point zombies overwhelm even STARS members. It's going to take me a while to run all those numbers, but the quick answer is Biden needs 57% or more of the remaining votes. Delaware County shows Biden 61.6% right on the edge, so it's "Philly vs. the rest of the state".

I just don't like those odds.

Do what exactly? The problem with Florida are the Cubans and Venezuelans who have been duped by the republicans selling them on the "evils" of socialism. To the point they don't give a fuck what democrats have to say. Democrats have been down there, expanding their message, and saying their plans.

"Medicare for all. Socialism!!!" and that's all republicans need to say.

That certainly seems prudent. FL seems to be just fucked up for the Democratic Party.

Georgia and more focus on Texas might be the way to go to replace Florida. Cuban/Venezuelan feel the democrats are too toxic it seems.

I saw on the news recently that when it comes to the Red counties that Biden is getting the majority of the mail in vote, which is all that's being counted now.

Just throwing this out there, but you have a lot of the "Soy de España" types... there's usually a break with the afro Cubans.

UPDATE: Twitter bans Steve Bannon after call for beheadings; YouTube removes video

Twitter banned an account associated with Steve Bannon on Thursday and YouTube removed one of his videos after the former Trump adviser called for the beheadings of two federal officials.

Bannon, in a video for his podcast recording, had said he wanted to behead FBI Director Christopher Wray and Dr. Anthony Fauci, the government’s top infectious diseases expert.

Bannon said he would “put the heads on pikes” as a “warning to federal bureaucrats,” referencing Tudor-era England.

“The @WarRoomPandemic account has been permanently suspended for violating the Twitter Rules, specifically our policy on the glorification of violence,” Twitter said in a statement. The platform has an established policy against the glorification of violence.

YouTube said it removed the video and gave the account a “strike” to count against a three-strikes policy that the company has before terminating an account. A strike temporarily disables uploading for at least a week, YouTube said.

“We’ve removed this video for violating our policy against inciting violence. We will continue to be vigilant as we enforce our policies in the post-election period,” YouTube spokesperson Alex Joseph said in a statement.
Some people have been saying social media is free advertisement for the GOP. This is America. Nothing is free.

I would also like it if the Secret Service or FBI paid Mr. Bannon a visit for those remarks

If I understand it correctly, ranked choice voting allows for instant run-offs. No need for a second election. Truthfully, ranked choice voting would probably be pretty good for this country.

That and desert-hippieville almost completely nullifies the rest of the red counties outside maricopa.

Ok, gotcha - I had what you said mixed up there. That's how I thought Maine's ranked voting system worked. Thanks for clarifying.
