If the future is so bright then why has Putin spent the last eight years doing nothing but desperately trying to get the Magnitsky sanctions lifted?

That is like the equivalent of prisoners bragging they get free food compared to those suckers outside having to buy it.
Come back after Russia gets past 1950 quality of healthcare and education and general quality of life.

If you see socialism as punishment rather then one of approaches that fits certain cases then it is quite clear why your country cannot wrap their head around concept of free healthcare and education.

Would love to hear how you figure that from my comment?

Does pointing out that prisoners also get buy stuff in prison mean I hate capitalism too?

Comparing free education and healthcare to prisons is quite strange take, and obvious chain of reasoning would be comparing "USSR/socialism" to prison - you know, usual republican stance. Maybe you are not reflecting that you repeat their memes.

Where did you get idea of such comparison from?

No, he is pointing out that our prisoners... as in people being punished for crime... get better social services, than general public.

You were correct to assume your assertion came from thin air... not sure why you’d post while recognizing it.

Did not know that criticizing autocrat in charge and the hostile foreign policy is hating Russia, but you do you.

Not sure where you get this but without Russia alot of households would not be able to warm their houses in the EU. So actually we in the EU should be very thankfull toward Russia for their foreign policy.

So we should bow to an agressive country which searches for external enemies, real or made up, because they are selling us gas?
Funny, but it also works precisely in reverse - without EU money a lot of households in Russia would also be in trouble. Russia cannot sell all that gas to someone else.
And you have forgotten that not only Russia supplies gas, the question is in price.

Wasn't comparing. Just saying they get it too. Those 2 things don't mean you have a well functioning government.

Those are advantages we have over US systems (which doesn't have well-functioning government either).

And had them before US even had Medicare. And here we are, 60+ years later... Russia still has them, US still doesn't.

Idd, voting by mail. I could not beleave this was possible in a wealthy country and claims to be transparent.
And the US system will have the same problems as we in the EU, you got 50% of the people that want complete different policies and they will work against each other and in the end you get results nobody is happy with. Russia and China have problems with their systems but we in the west should not act like our own systems are working that mutch better.

Not sure why you're so stuck on "good government".

"Good government" isn't usually a thing that makes sweeping changes like the ones you need to get free education and healthcare - because that upsets plenty of existing structures, and any "good government" generally seeks to preserve them.
