Agreed. It's rather hypocritical. I definitely understand the excitement, but you can be excited in the safety of your home.

To be fair to these parties though, while basically everyone is breaking social distancing protocols, I also see a fuckton of mask usage. It's far better than the Trump rallies for sure.

The only thing with remotely any merit is the observer thing in PA where they were ordered to let observers get closer. Giuliani has suggested throwing out the votes that were counted before that. Well, that wouldn't happen; they'd be recounted and the results would be the same +/- a few hundred votes. And if they did get thrown out, Biden's lead would only widen because that was the only time period in the count when Trump did have a lead.

There is no "Monday court battle", there isn't even a case or evidences to build one.

Not even the possibility of "Penn State post-election day votes", since that doesn't change the large margin that Biden has.

Whether a President can pardon himself is untested, but you can preemptively pardon people. You’re pardoning the crime, not dismissing charges etc. Inherent in a pardon is an admission of guilt to said crime. The big sticking point is State vs federal. Trump, nor any President, has the power to pardon someone on the State level. That’s reserved for Governors. And I’m not sure, *checks notes*, Cuomo is going to pardon Trump.

Pardoning himself would be the prime example of conflict of interest and abusing your position of power for personal gain. I don't see how that wouldn't cause revolt. Though it would be great if he relinquished his power to Pence, who would then hang him out to dry as Trump's no longer useful.
