They need to drop 1/3 of the party (progressives) in favor of trying to court "moderate Republicans", after Trump went from 90% of Republicans voting for him in 2016, to 93% of Republicans voting for him in 2020? Especially right after a bunch of progressive policies passed in red states like legal weed and minimum wage raises.

Why do you think I'm in favor of inviting them to the table? Lincoln Project is a bunch of grifters who accomplished what they set out to do - raise money to rebuild their party. Kasich is wholly incompatible with our party.

The DSA can do whatever the fuck it wants as long as its quiet, but its not the blue print for winning elections nationwide.

Reps and Senators need to run races that make sense for their district and state and not get attached to the divisive rhetoric that has been attached to DSA/Justice Dems/etc... candidates.

Him pardoning himself for federal crimes isn't going to matter. We're already ass deep into the moronic "Lets come together and heal" messaging from Biden. Trump will never face any justice from the feds.

1) Biden has said nothing of pardoning Trump. In fact if I recall correctly he said he had no interest in doing so

2) I doubt Biden was referring to "letting them off the hook" when talking about bringing the nation together, and on that note

3) "Bring the nation together" IS a good sentiment for the president to say to the American people. What, was he supposed to say "thanks everyone who voted for me, but all of you who voted against me you better watch your asses because the big swinging D of the Democratic party is about to wreck your shit" instead?

Trump needs all of them. Remember, Biden was at 253 until recently. NV, PA, AZ and possibly GA are all looking to go against him.

He needs to block every single state on that list, maybe not NV I guess, to stop the legal, honest election from declaring Biden the winner. He cannot allow Arizona to come to their honest, legal conclusion.

And that is why Arizona. Trump's about to wipe, so he's blowing all his cooldowns.

He's on track to losing GA. Arizona would not matter in that case.

Pardoning himself would be the prime example of conflict of interest and abusing your position of power for personal gain. I don't see how that wouldn't cause revolt. Though it would be great if he relinquished his power to Pence, who would then hang him out to dry as Trump's no longer useful.

Well, if Pence is complicit, could see Trump pardon Pence, then resign and watch Pence return the favor. Would be dirty as all hell but they could attempt it and see how that plays. But I don't see how Pence could be that close and NOT be complicit in the stuff.

I think there is one more big patch tonight from maricopa. If its about the same I think it was like 38k trump vs. 31k biden last time. Then its nothing smaller blue counties I believe.

Measures that Biden can implement without Congress.

Rejoin the Paris accord.

Reverse every single one of Trump's 186 EOs.

Reverse the Fed hiring freeze.

Rebuild the devastated Fed government bureaucracy.

As far as ACA is concerned here is a non-exhaustive list.

Extend the open enrollment period back to 90 days;
Undo many other changes in the “market stabilization” rule;
Revise the premium adjustment percentage methodology;
Roll back prior guidance on Section 1332 waivers;
Eliminate the “double billing” rule for abortion services;
Revise rules on Section 1557 and provider conscience protections;
Address broad exemptions to the contraceptive mandate;
Curb state options for selecting a new essential health benefits package;
Promote access to nonprofit navigators; and
Curb proliferation of short-term plans, and limit the sale or deceptive marketing practices of other limited benefit plans.

Stop issuing drilling leases on Federal land.

Tighten flaring regulations which is supported by every single oil majors. A bunch of small to medium oil companies will probably cry crocodile tears. Screw them.

Tighten permitting and review process for new drilling, pipeline and petrochemical projects.

Outright ban on all new offshore drilling programs in Federal water. However, exclude offshore wind farms.

Congress never stopped funding low-interest loans for renewable energy. However, DoE under Trump's administration has been slow-walking loan issuance. Time to accelerate those.

Cancel student loans for those that met PSLF requirement. Or just cancel Federally funded loans outright.

Strengthen worker's right. Not sure that he can increase Fed's minimum wage without Congress.

Cut emission and increase mileage. Easiest way is to let California implement it's EV, emission and mileage policy, and expand it's Cap and Trade program. Where California goes the rest of the country will follow.
