Based on that old quote I find it hard to believe you wouldn't be here gloating if Trump won. So don't throw stones.

What backpedaling? You only needed to fit one of those terms for it to be true. Considering you didn't argue against one of them. I'm sure you know which applies to you

Yeah I do have my shitposting sprees. Don't worry, that's the last shade you'll see me throw. Enjoy your victory.

You heavily implied I was both of those things in your earlier post, don't try and weasel your way out of that. I did argue against your baseless accusation of me being a hypocrite, because you've proven you have no idea how to actually use the term.

I could have easily said in the beginning that I wasn't being serious with that post and just came to bait (though I did and got infracted for it), but instead I chose to own up to it and admit my fault. You're still here desperately trying to move the goalposts. Move on.

Also everybody knows bidens story and that he is a good man. Trump kept trying to throw lables and trash at biden and nothing ever stuck because everybody knew better.

The only question would be if an progressive candidate would have been more successful in the rust belt which Biden got by the skin of his teeth.

Let me make your point moot Donald Trump and the republican party got into power if your logic is correct that shouldn't happen because moderation sells right? The voting population gives lip service to centrism but they do not reward it, I foresee a bloodbath in 2022 for the democrats.
It was a push for the center, hence why blue states turned red then back to blue. Even with one of the worst (if not THE worst) presidents in history, Biden on won by a few percentage points in the battle ground states that actually matter.

you aren't gonna get anywhere with them, the same people swore up & down bernie would win the primaries cause "its what the people want" & still come up with every excuse under heaven why that wasn't the case.

Yeah no... You just lack "basic literacy skills". If I thought you were a hypocrite I would have shown your hypocrisy like I do with many others on here.

Why do people always double down when they are wrong? Bruised ego? Show some humility once in a while, you might learn something.

Bernie would have lost the rust belt, Minnesota, Georgia, AZ, and NV...

He is not a well liked politician, regardless of what the more populist part of our party thinks.

He would have to really fuck up to lose Minnesota. Minnesota is one of the most stable Blue States. It hasn’t been red in a near 50 years.

Biden made a point of several things said in certain states, notably, he's not locking down the country, and he said rioting and looting won't be tolerated.
    So...read between the lines.

No you don't get it it's not about left or right anymore what does Trump, Obama and Bernie have in common populism. That's what the DNC seems to miss in 2016 people want change whether it's from the left or the right that's why centrism is doomed to lose power. You either stand for something or nothing at all voters aren't happy with the establishment.

People don't care about policy anymore they just want change that's why Biden got such a lukewarm victory.

That's what I think of Bernie.

Omar lost 17 points of support in freaking Minneapolis.

How do you think Bernie would have done.

What would easily win an election is a middle aged white male with a populist message, Bernie has too much baggage and frankly I don't see a woman having a shot at the presidency. Kamala Harris has virtually no chance of winning an election the country is just not there yet.

How do we know this hypothetical? Because so far Biden has won across party lines, flipping a negative amount of Republicans. His was, so far because we don't have all the numbers yet, is due to increased turn out from the Left. Both registered Democrats and NPAs.

Unless you're suggesting that Democrats wouldn't have voted to spite Bernie you can infer the same people would have voted for him. Also Leftist/progressive policy and candidates did great in their down ballots nation wide ie Florida rejecting Democrats but passive progressive amendments.

An actual hypothetical is what would have happened had COVID19 not been a thing. Trump was up in the polls until he started fucking up in the polls. He is actually one of the few leaders who didn't see gain during the summer because he dropped the ball so hard.

I think she has a better chance than Hillary or Sarah Palin. I honestly think that’s why she was picked as VP. I think they’re grooming her.
