If everyone in the US actually listened used masks and just stayed the fuck home whenever possible for like 2-3 weeks this would all die down but selfishness is all many know there from anyone looking in on them. It is embarrassing to have to rely on them so much for our own economy here.

If people actually read the safety card in planes most people would survive plane crashes that don't kill on impact, but only about 30% ever do.

Hard to make people act in their own self interest.

I am just happy all of the sanctions/and import things are going to be reverted when Biden takes over, you don't fucking impose shit like that on your closets economic neighbors.

I would not consider them people, they are brainwashed just like the religious crazies.

Most people have not. If we go with the standard ~250K figure and assume that most people have about 20 close friends and family and 200 acquaintances, that would imply that ~5 million people have had a close friend or family member die and ~50 million people have an acquaintance that died in a nation of ~330 million. Those numbers still probably overstate the matter due to clustering and overlaps in higher density areas as well as most young people not having close friends in their 80s. So, yeah, perhaps ~1-2% of Americans are close to someone that's died.

Seasonality isn't looking great for Canada. Might want to watch the smugness a bit.

    Yep Thanksgiving is canceled.

Brother-in-law was forced to fly to Nashville for work this week. Ya, he works for nitwits, but they pay extremely well.

Still where I live our numbers are pretty low on average here on the east coast, we do lockdowns soon as it starts going above 10 cases a day for more than a couple days. We had a completely normal summer and it was great, basically no restrictions except masks and washing our hands until the skin came off lol.

Yeah sprry but I won't be obeying. I'm going to my brother's house and we're going to have a good fun time over there. Lockdowns and curfews are bullshit and do nothing. Do people really think the virus is just going to magically disappear after a few weeks? What, does it get bored or lonely or something and just say "well, nobody wants to come out anymore guess I'll just go back to China". You don't think that after the lockdown cases won't go up again? How well did the last lockdown go? Virus is still here and going strong so obviously lockdowns aren't the answer. If anything they only delay the inevitable.

The problem is people are just so god damn terrified of it that they'll just let the government control their lives and tell them what they can and can't do. Stop relying on the government to think for you and for once think for yourselves.

I was wondering how long it would take for this to pop up. It wasn't long. The ingenuity of refusing to do what the guberment says, no matter what they say. The government tells it's people not kill yourselves, and you can expect a spike in suicides, just because it was the government telling you what not to do. Doesn't matter that it was the suggestion from specialists in their fields in the first place. That's America for you. You are a caricature.

No, it doesn't magically disappear. The very point is to slow it down, so your healthcare can keep up with the cases as they come, so you aren't going to get additional deaths due to an overloaded healthcare system.

So please, don't think for yourselves. You suck at it.

Well then you should tell that to people like Nancy Pelosi and the California governor who are always preaching about wearing masks, socially distancing, and staying away from crowds and seeing your family members, and staying at home since they were caught doing the very thing they and the rest of the tyrants kept telling everybody NOT to do. They tell you to stay home while they go out and have their hair done privately and have birthday parties all while not wearing those precious face masks or socially distancing. Why can they do it but not us? Do as I say, not as I do.

They also say nothing about all the Biden rallies and BLM marches that have been going on where hundreds maybe thousands of people are out there (some without masks) dancing and twerking their ass off. Why? Because they're all celebrating the right side and the right causes. You have to be either blind or in denial to not see this shit. If they can go out and have parties with hundreds and thousands of people they don't even know why can't I go to a family or friend's house with 3-4 other friends or family members?
