Preety much what I was expecting gameplay/story wise, thou I didn’t have many problems with bugs beside two crashs, 1 set of head/arms walking around and a graphics error with bloodspray.
One thing that amused me thou is I was originally gonna go the nonlethal route and just knock everyone out with a bat. But first chap to cross my path got his head crushed in one hit so that option went off the table preety quick.
If they can even recover from this.
They have no other big games in the works, There is no telling how long it will take to fix it and even if they do they have killed the trust of the gaming community. Ubisoft,EA and so on can fuck up because they more than one iron in the fire, CDPR had only Cyberpunk.
Wouldn't be surprised if this tanks them so hard one of the bigger company's buys them up.

It's ok we get it, we know idiots need all the help they can get.
Epilepsy and video games has been a thing since forever, in fact its a thing with television in general, as well as LED light bulbs and anything that has a noticible flicker at a certain frequency (refresh rate etc)
If your an epileptic and you know you are, you should already be well aware of the potential risks, if you need extra help with warnings just in case, then I'm afaid you have bigger problems!
It's not going to be that bad. It has been a costly disaster but not one that is even threatening for a second to bankrupt them or anything to that degree. Realistically what is going to happen is they are going to focus on patching the game, leading up to the official next gen editions of the game and the first DLC. If they are smart, it will be a sizable DLC they release 100% free, and it better be pretty damn good.
Wow, my comments of the game being untouchable after the initial review barrage aged like milk. I'll be the first to admit, I never saw the PS4/XBO issues coming. I am not playing on those consoles, but it is nearly impossible to argue that this game now doesn't have a gigantic cloud hanging over it. Hopefully they get it completed soon.
It's not going to bankrupt them but it sure as hell is going to make independent investors less likely to work with them in the future meaning they might have to take a publishing deal and report to another AAA publisher for their next release instead of being in charge of it. If of course they want to make games on this scale in the future, without outside help they will need to scale back down to smaller scale projects.
Exactly. People are blowing this out of proportion. Yes, the ps4/xbox one version are really bad. They are going to be fixed.
Remember when Bethesda died with Fallout 76? People are going to be all over their dick when they go full steam ahead with marketing Starfield and Elder Scrolls VI.
Remember when Bioware died with ME:Andromeda and Anthem? People are going to be (already are) all over their dick when they go full steam ahead with marketing the next Mass Effect.
So yeah.
Even on max graphics 1440p, no dsl...they look ugh... like it looks like something from dcuo..maybe even worse :S
I mean, looking at their perfection of the Witcher series from the first one to Witcher 3, the first one was really rudimentary and odd to play, and their design slowly perfected itself. I wonder if we'll see a similar progression if we see Cyberpunk 2078 and Cyberpunk 2079 or whatever.
The only thing that I think is genuinely bad, and not really up to par in terms of implementation outside of bugs is the driving. It, along with the traffic, feels really rudimentary, without much going into it. Cars don't really react well to traffic obstructions, you can feel the polygons in the road as you go over hills and stuff. Cars turning feels a bit odd too. I don't REALLY mind it, because I mostly just use cars as a faster way to get from one point to the other and still look around at the city, but if we see sequels to Cyberpunk 2077, I want them to put work into improving that side of things singificantly.

Amusing to see what appear to be some of the same tricks used with Crysis 2 when it comes to body morphing when crouching/looking down. Just an interesting little video.
It's a big problem for them as of now, as I'd think that sales for Gwent weren't anything special and the rest of their lineup doesn't do much.
However, it doesn't mean this has to tank them, with a pit of patience, they could pull off a no man's sky and turn Cyberpunk around, as you said it's the biggest thing they've got, so the better get their shit together and fix this or loose the whole 'we aren't as scummy as EA' shtick.
I've played the game for about 5 hours now (on a mid/low range system) and it's decent for me, but I did anticipate the bugs and crashes. I only had one flying+sitting guy in the road (nomad start) and had some crashes with the first braindance sequence. My biggest gripe is the poor optimization. It should could be a but smoother and easier to run than it does now. The funniest thing to me is that this game could actually run better than RDR2 does on my system, it just needs some work in that department. As some people have compared the game to rockstar games such as GTAV or RDR2, I do think that this game COULD be better (but isn't as of yet), if they also fixed the AI, at least the CDPR lancher works good and is't the smoking shitfest that is the rockstar launcher.
