Sword Hemo Spec Nelf Rogue
Sword Hemo Spec Nelf Rogue
I will roll a shadow priest. Just overall a cool spec and fun in PvP too.
What's optimal raid comp for Sunwell? IIRC it's 1 warrior 1 priest 23 warlocks.
...but seriously folks...
2-3 prot warriors (jewelcrafting armorsmith?)
2-3 glaive-toting rogues? (and was fan of knives a wrath thing?)
5+ shamans but I can't remember the spec
I remember Lifebloom is OP (and IIRC it doesn't actually "bloom" like it does now) but I forget how many haste-stacking resto druids are optimal, I don't think two copies of a spell was a thing back then.
A couple mass-dispelling priests for Felmyst
As many warlocks as the guild can find
A shadow priest for every 4 warlocks
A mage or two possibly
And a few paladins to stand outside and buff everyone on the way in
I remember hunters being OK but warlocks being better. And DPS warriors were OP in the final tier of every expansion due to crit inflation until like...Pandaria.
Raid bosses will always be very similar so long as encounter design requires DPS to always be pumping 100%.
Will stick with Warrior, to be fair though I'm just levelling a char to 70 so I can unlock Deathknights for WotLK Classic
I think I would start out where I ended up at the end of TBC which is warrior tank and shaman healer.
This setup is not very good at all lol.
A more likely setup will look like this
Group 1:
prot pally
Aff lock
Survival hunter
Resto druid
Resto shaman
Group 2:
Prot warrior
Arms warrior
Combat rogue
Ret Paladin
Enhance shaman
Group 3:
Bm hunters x3
Feral druid
Enhance shaman
Group 4:
3x destro lock
Boomkin
Ele shaman
Group 5
Mage
Shadow
Holy priest
Holy Paladin
Resto shaman
Obviously some fights might be better to swap out some melee for another class or maybe swap out a healer here and there, but generally this is what it will look like. And this isn’t saying this raid comp is the only one ever, but this is more optimal.
Will probably keep the priest. Might switch to shadow, if needed for the guild.
The minmaxing culture already ruining Classic TBC and it has not even started yet. It will be funny watching all those tryhard and geared warriors, rogues and mages throwing their toons to the bin in a few months.
I hope we get to keep our characters...if so
My current horde warrior main will stay, i have blacksmithing on it solely to get Stormherald in TBC since i loved stunlock warrior back in the day
And my alliance paladin will probably get retired in favor of leveling a belf paladin, which i`ll probably play ret on since everyone already hates me for playing ret un-ironically in classic
I ended up leveling a shadow priest late in TBC and I absolutely LOVED playing it, so if TBC ever happens then I'll likely be rolling a spriest again.
