I think a Childe-Hu Tao-Zhongli-Albedo comp might be ridiculously op.

The new boss was awful and buggy, but I'm sad 1.2 is basically over now

Based on how the Unreconciled Stars event was structured, we might get at least one more quest to cap off this event.

Then again, with how most of the quests during this event tended to end abruptly, I wouldn't be surprised if the event itself just sort of petered out as well.

I encountered no bugs with the boss.

I only got some in morning, but there were hotfixes. There was one realy anoying bug after hotfix with crafting station as i had to close and open it to be able to craft the gems.

Boss has so many bugs it's not funny...

My list encountered in the 10 I've done so far:

-Matched into a group where the regisvine wasn't even active and remained inactive the whole time (the shield was already broken and the enemies just infini-spawned for 8 minutes; afterwards the same group requeued and it worked fine)
-Have had the boss turn active without a weak spot
-Have had the enemies not drop the crystals to break the shield chunks
-Have had the boss take severely reduced damage (my diluc hitting for literal 80 dmg with searing strikes? wut?)

WTF is this garbage?

Edit: ah yes... just now I got prompted to enter a world after co-oping and it error'd out saying world was full half way through load. Fuck you guys, learn 2 program.

Because coop is fun and I feel like it should be the better of the two options. It was for mona. It is for a lot of domains if you don't have the correct people. My wife plays and we like to do stuff together as much as possible. Sorry you don't have any friends.

For this event boss you'd basically have 100% uptime on 3 stacks though
depending on how they design bosses in the future, they can be pretty awesome

Also, why do I feel like any time I go into one of their pseudo-multiplayer instances (ones like the boss zone if you do solo) a lot of stuff becomes way less responsive? I can normally start taking actions immediately after swapping characters but in this little zone and a few others like it from the past, there's delay between when the char spawns in and when I can start doing stuff. Same with dodge timing...

Wouldn't bother with R1 though. If you use it, you should go all the way.

Afaik, there are only two options for the event:

single and co-op (co-op in this case is actually match-making; it will continuously allow people to join until you get to 4). I haven't tried queueing with single when we're together because I figured it would just boot her, but I'll give it a go.

Edit: yeah, it says "unavailable" when you're grouped and try to do single. So your options are just "do it solo" or "do it with flexible match making that will always try to fill your instance to 4 people."
