I'm don't do all of the but the point is that having all of that available gives people options. The problem is the people who have no self-control and feel they are 'forced' to do all of it. They're not.
Pick and choose what you want. Do that.
yes

If you have 2 hours per day to spend, you'd just run rated BGs until you have 220 gear across the board. Then start on mythic CN. The rest is pointless.
TO FIX WOW:1. smaller server sizes & server-only LFG awarding satchels, so elite players help others. 2. "helper builds" with loom powers - talent trees so elite players cast buffs on low level players XP gain, HP/mana, regen, damage, etc. 3. "helper ilvl" scoring how much you help others. 4. observer games like in SC to watch/chat (like twitch but with MORE DETAILS & inside the wow UI) 5. guild leagues to compete with rival guilds for progression (with observer mode).6. jackpot world mobs.
The question was:
And no, I don't really need the Ulduar gear. Normal takes me 2 hours to clear. Timewalking takes me less than 2h if I can be arsed to do it. The poll gives me no option to be selective so I'm not answering it. I'll be 215 equipped by the end of the week even without any lucky heroic/mythic raid drops.
This game does not require 25 hours of gearing per week, not even close to it.
no we are not doing everything
but Ulduar is for sure priority to do for majority of playerbase as 200 itlv upgrades are huge - especially that a lot of them have bis stats for a lot of classes - making this gear more powerfull then 213 with bad stats from hc raids and gear form m+ .
especially that blizzard f...ed up and didnt nerf droprates in tw - and it drops 5 pieces for 20 people. which is crazy since its much eaiser then normal CN and drops a lot of bis loot on top of it.
without doubt they will fix it next time.
Some of this would be nice, too, yeah. After the last covenant world quest upgrade I noticed that my world quest rewards were 174 now. I made a comment in general chat that this was pretty chill that they were keeping outdoor content. I got slammed by like a dozen people ranting at me about how I could consider anything that low to be relevant. I pointed out that if you don't like pvp and don't do any organized group content that the gear is 3 ilvls above what you can get in random heroics, and just got attacked again.
The most difficult thing to do is accept that there is nothing wrong with things you don't like and accept that people can like things you don't.
Not doing mythic dungeons this week at all due to shitty affixes. The rest - for sure.
During a normal working week, 3 hours is an insane amount of time for someone with a family to play. Over the weekend, fair enough.
Sleep: 8 hours
Work: 8 hours
Spare time: 8 hours (not including commute, cooking & feeding, washing clothes, socialising, family time, homework, personal hygiene, child hygiene etc.)
That 8 hours of spare time diminishes incredibly fast. I find that I have around 1-2ish hours to myself and even then it's not really enough time to get anything major done until the weekend, especially as I try to squeeze raiding in there 3 times a week. I've literally had to write myself a weekly to-do list, allocate time to it or sacrifice sleep. The weekends don't really open that much time as I have 2 children to entertain.
Personal circumstance, obviously, the game isn't and shouldn't be tailored to me. However, I do think this expansion isn't friendly to the older audience even when I am only 26!
I don't get this.
Let's assume you wake up at 7am, go to work at 8, get home at 6pm, you need to eat dinner, say it takes an hour. You go to bed at 11pm for your full 8 hours of sleep which obviously everybody gets. That's 4 hours from the time you finished dinner to the time you went to bed.
And considering most people probably get home from work earlier, cook/eat dinner faster, and go to bed later, that's even more time. So if you have roughly 5 free hours a day and you aren't spending them on hobbies what are you doing? Seems like spending 3 hours a day on hobbies is perfectly reasonable to me.
As I don't need any 200ilvl gear, I'm not doing any TW.
I do my 10 weekly 13-14 keys, Torghast, arena and HC Raid.
Not only am I doing pretty much all the list (except PvP, due to not enough time and not particularly enjoying it), but the game isn't dropping me anything, and my GV has given me nothing but dupes for my two best slots for three resets in a row. This current loot system is horrible.
I run a small business and own a home. I have much more than 2 hours per day of free time. Can't go to bars due to COVID. Spend time with my friends on the weekends because a lot of them have children. Wife and I eat dinner and watch TV before bed. House upkeep and chores don't take long. I take the dogs for walks every other day because we have a big back yard.
Nope, I think you got it wrong man. I think it gaming is your hobby that's fine. Again if you can't find 2-6 hours of free time to do whatever you want a day, you should re-evaluate.
