It's super easy for any class and you don't need 200 ilvl but the amount of time it takes makes it unbearable in most cases. Especially when the reward is something that should have been baseline for the start.

If you don't say you was having a blast then people might think you were not enjoying the content or worse you were struggling to finish it and then your epeen will be demolished and your thread reputation destroyed. Tbh I think Torghast is a bad copy of the Summit from Division only far less intuitive and roll the bones. I don't see much difference between torghast and a casino except the bad rewards. Everything else is there: Pointless gambling and waste of time.

tried it as a 211 bm hunter couldn't beat layer 1 once i hit floor 16 everything started 2 shotting my pet so im just gona do the quest on him then never go back there on hunter gona get the mount on my bear instead

Just pick health buffs and chance to heal 5% of health buffs and your pet will be immortal.
BM is a very safe spec for Torghast. It has only one problem and that is damage. But your pet dying is 100% because you picked the wrong powers.
You should also spec in to Killer Instinct. Animal companion lowers the damage and therby the leech of your pet by 35%.

I feel like people who complain that it's too hard are skipping half of the floors. If you don't have 90+ anima powers by the end of the run you're doing it wrong.

Just pick health buffs and chance to heal 5% of health buffs and your pet will be immortal.

if i got any i would, i had 91 powers and no options for that, got the slime boss at the final floor and he did the same thing, i got 2 leach ones i even had 2 turtle ones didn't help in the slightest, as a side note there's no pet hp buff powers for bm, my pet literly couldnt survive

I most definitely did not have a blast in my layer 8 run. Thanks to RNGesus this was the only run when the +15% stacking obleron power dropped whooping three times and the mawrat spices power didn't drop at all. So even though I got the +100% stamina epic power from a rare mob that I didn't get on any other layer, I still had less than 80k, maybe half of what I had in my worst run (in terms of HP). And when I got into a fight with 2 casters patrol that went from behind a corner while I was already in a fight with a 2 caster group that used all my CC, the patrol started casting at me before the Felguard got onto them and the two spells on non-elite mobs were enough to kill me instantly even with Unending Resolve on.

Pact of Infernal Intimacy stacks on Felguard went fuck themselves. At floor 14. But hey, while I didn't have enough floors left to stack it back to full, I'd be missing just one stack. And I just had a shop floor ahead of me for a free stack. Then comes floor 17. I already killed the boss and there was a nook next to the exit where there was a phylactery with an anima cell. The anima cell had the 1.5 minute immunity. I ran to the exit so I'd have ~1 minute left of the immunity once I reached the boss so that I could just spam demons while they nuked the boss.

My fucking Felguard despawned on floor transition, because Blizzard is a small indie company apparently (and while I'm on it, two rares in that run did not drop an anima cell, both times it was a rare you have to solve a puzzle to open the gate to). Pact of Infernal Intimacy stacks went fuck themselves again. Felguard died almost instantly, after which my 10 Demonic Tyrants got obliterated by the boss within seconds. Without demons my damage was pitiful so by the time my shield despawned (also when I could summon more Tyrants) the boss was still at around 80% hp and then it farted in my general direction, killing me in one hit despite Unending Resolve and the 50% damage taken reduction after Demonic Portal.

The next run I didn't get pitiful HP (though still second lowest in my TC runs) and the final boss died in like 45 seconds max.

You can just choose to not take the anima power until you're ready to not start the 1.5 min cd at a bad time next time. I bet you didn't use your phantasma consuming item from Ven'ari either. But yeah RNG is totally at fault.

How about you actually read what you're replying to? RNG had fuck all to do with the 1.5 minute immunity. Nor did I take it "at a bad time", since as I quite clearly said, I took it just before entering last floor. What I said was related to RNG was me getting almost none of the usually abundant 15% hp powers, which led to my tankiness being that of toilet paper. And then, you know, my Felguard despawned on floor transition, which is an outright bug.

And not only did you bet wrong as from like floor 6 I was swimming in phantasma and had the buff on at all times, the buff would change absolutely nothing because my problem was that my Felguard was too squishy because of too few HP powers (and, you know, losing stacks of Pact of Infernal Intimacy due to a bug) and there is no buff granted by the Phantasma Infuser that boosts stamina.

Nothing in what I said went wrong went wrong because of "taking immunity at a bad time". I said that the immunity didn't really help me because of what actually went wrong. Because words mean things, no matter how foreign that concept appears to you. Next time you rush in to "make fun of the noobz" with your "deep insights" as you convinced yourself you were doing make sure you know how language works.

It's like normal torghast, once you finish a layer, you can pick up at the next one at any point. You do have to finish the layer completely though.

Pick w.e that gives you hp (kill mawrat % hp for example) and get 5% heal pet anima power..it will be slow as hell cause your damage as BM is shit but its doable...like 3 hours in high layer but doable .

I just went through it on my prot Paladin last night 2.5 hours before raid started I formed a group consisting of a WW Monk, Mage, Feral, and MW Monk. We did it, but I was about 5-10 mins late for raid.

The final boss was something else.

We got the boss on the creeper mount who does the charge ability.

We got to that boss with only like 2-4 deaths available and I think we all died like 4 times each.

Our mage had to stay back and perma root the Balrog thingy.

We had to resort to just kiting the thing because if it caught you, it was pretty much an instant 1 shot.

Sadly I fail with my Holy Paladin at floor 17, layer 1 but then again, it is due to my nomming down the brokers... Need to keep reminding myself not to do it.

Happened to me once by mistake. Was still targeting the broker and used the bad orb ) it stays dead for the remaining levels. If you kill the one on 6 it gets wasted for 12 and 18 as well.

Same as the "normal" runs except its 18 floors in total (So its like doing it x3 in one run)

why? Weekly quests to unlock it have gotten it's weekly limit removed. You can catch up right away.

Because I didn't need it on the floor I was in and under normal circumstances 1 minute would be more than enough, as the DPS I can output in Torghast is more than enough to kill the last boss of layer 18 in less than that, as I said?

And please do continue how there's no misreading on your part while you are still railing on the one thing that not only had nothing to do with RNG that, according you your enlightened mind I'm merely using as an excuse, but is completely immaterial to what happened in my run altogether. It's completely incidental. I didn't need the immunity, I needed my Felguard to not die, which it did because of bad RNG with health powers and a bug that made it despawn and lose the most important buff. And pets don't get the immunity from that power.

And me laughing your inability to read what you're replying to (yet choosing to reply to it nonetheless) doesn't magically require me to be upset.

So, according to a jan 5th hotfix it says they removed it. yet, i still have no quests form bolvar and havent done past the jaina saving quest.

Maybe for some, but this is definitely not the case for me just after rescuing Jaina. The questline won't continue.
