The impeachment proceedings are a circus. The Dems are naturally staying on point: We need to do this because no one is above the law. They point out this is being done quickly because its some damned evident what happened because its such public information.

GOP though...

They are making outright threats and not even hiding it. Some have said that impeachment will lead to more violent protests. But the main point they're sticking to, is stating that if you impeach Trump, that they will constantly try to impeach democrats for anything they ever say. Over and over again they're making that threat that if you impeach Trump then they will make life an even bigger living hell as they invoke articles of impeachment against every dem for things they've said in the past.

They better hurry up if they want to play that game, a handful of them are persons of interest to the FBI...

also if this right wing faction gets serious it will be easy for them to abandon trump and just go for the 'freedoms, god and country' approach to recruitment for revolutionary violence.

Since i do not want Trump to be able to run a second time i support impeachment.
On the other hand, impeachment against a president has never gone through, takes up a whole lot of time and ressources, and the citizens would be better of if Biden first handed out those 2k $ before looking for other ways to get Trump banned.
Considering that the usual big donors are trying to distance themselves from Trump and the GOP, not much needs to be done.

I would not go that far. Seems a lot of modern GOP especially follow the voting, intermarrying, and superiority positions.
