The Secretary of Pillowforts hasn't given up yet. Just today he was talking to Trump about what should be done next.
The "trigger emergency powers" and "insurrection act" and "martial law" bits certainly stand out.

So claiming Iran and China attacked the election, which (a) is a change from it being Democrats (b) they have no evidence (c) why would they, Trump was going to lose anyhow?
Trump still has four days to start a war, but I don't see that happening. He's out of allies, including the military.
Funny how conservatives are constantly projecting. This was their claim despite no evidence with Clinton and Obama. Yet there were signs it could be a possibility for W. Bush and Trump. But the dems are the warhawking fascists, that constantly grow the government and wast taxpayers money. Despite that really only happening under conservative rule.
Neither of these things would accomplish what they think it would accomplish. Never underestimate the stupidity of criminals.

This dude's main tools for planning this coup attempt proposal was Google search and Wikipedia. Fascist incompetence would be hysterical if it weren't so dangerous.Intelligencer spoke with a person fitting that exact description — a cyber attorney based out of Fort Meade — who expressed confusion on Friday afternoon at apparent plans for him to be involved in a coup. This Frank Colon described himself as “just a government employee who does work for the Army.” He seemed befuddled why he would floated to the president in any senior role and said that he never met Lindell, although “I’ve seen him on TV.” (Lindell did not respond to a request for comment.)
Colon said “I get called into a lot of projects for the Pentagon,” including Operation Warp Speed, but that it “would be odd to reach that far down” in the Defense Department for a role like national security advisor, “but people know me in the Pentagon because there’s just not a lot of [people doing cyber law].”

- Christopher HitchensPopulists (and "national socialists") look at the supposedly secret deals that run the world "behind the scenes". Child's play. Except that childishness is sinister in adults.
Not sure if this got lost in the whole insurrection crap that's been going on, but every county in GA has certified as of a couple hours ago, secretary of state has signed off, both inside trading losers have conceded. Kemp has until the 22nd but likely will certify tuesday(since monday is holiday) which means likely ossoff and warnock will likely be sworn in wednesday or maybe thursday depending on the logistics since not exactly sure what's all happening for the inauguration stuff happening, doesn't really take much to swear someone in, but crazy shit is possibly going down so it's a little unknown. But they'll be sworn in mid week likely regardless.

local news, sorry for those geoblocked, but my post is a TLDR anyways with my own bits added to their speculation.
Well I mean, the main operant factor is that they're Trump supporters, sooooo...
I guess if nothing else it makes the FBI's jobs incredibly easy. Hell, this likely could have been avoided entirely (for as much as these rubes were talking about it prior to it happening) if requisite policing bodies had actually taken the notion seriously. But as has been said... they didn't figure white people with guns would be an issue, obviously.

Yeah, this is pointless, without examples I can't actually talk about this at all. Sorry for wasting your time, I don't have the time to search this thread for examples of house and or senate votes on state matters. The only thing I can take from this is that your system seems to be a bit broken if there's a disparity in government support depending on where those industries are compared to how fucked they are.
I don't think the majority is always correct, I just think that the senate/house system is outdated and not a good check&balance anymore. Senators in my mind have way too much power. There should be an independent apolitical group that checks every legislation before (or depending on the urgency, after) it's going to the votes for key issues like discrimination and overall impact.
Also, the time between handing-over of office should be as short as possible without the "losing" party being able to still implement laws and regulations.
The issue with this type of blanket reductive criticism is summarized pretty well by Russell Brand here (link to relevant time slot). Sure these people are kind of dumb, a lot are racists and they lack any critical understanding of how Trump was for them personally. BUT, as an expression of existential anger at vast amounts of wealth being stolen from them I have a hard time disagreeing with that aspect of their movement:

I find it sinister the way this issue is marginalized so people go back to their favourite subject: identity politics. Blacks think black, whites think white and the ruling class cleans up by thinking green.

Vast amount of wealth are being stolen from them, so they voted in the millionaire grifter that spent 4 years stealing as much money as possible, and the conservative party who's modus operandi is to fuck the general population and enrich the rich even more.
As Keleredar said, the entire group is dumb.
Yes but you people want to vote in a democrat party that wants to fuck the general population and enrich the rich even more. You didn't give those people any alternatives or even pretend to address their concerns. What did you expect? Of course if you write that group off then they are going to support any narrative which addresses their concerns-whether its dumb or not. This was like a ghost dance for under-educated white people.
Democrats in the House led by Pelosi put a bill that was a $2k stimulus bill for the general population. Republicans in the Senate led by McConnell blocked it. This is not the only example of democrats trying to funnel money to Trump supporters as well as non-Trump supporters throughout the country and republicans blocking it, it is only the most recent example.
Democrats have been campaigning on raising the minimum wage, providing affordable or free healthcare, forgiving college loans, making higher education more accessible, and paying for it all by raising taxes on the wealthy.
How do you keep voting for the Sheriff of Nottingham and then turn around and call Robin Hood an elitist? Christ, Republican voters are dumb.
Twitter asshole Baked Alaska has been arrested for being part of the Capitol riot.
So on the whole I'd say it's a pretty good start to the weekend.
