With the release of Blizzard's Arena Tournament server, our team is announcing the creation of a $3000 prize pool RBG Tournament. The tournament is hosted in honor of Suspex, the highest rated girl on the US Rated Battleground ladder. As many of you know, Suspex suffers from a rare and chronic disease called Polyarteritis Nodosa. To celebrate her reaching 3000 rating, we are hosting this tournament and donating 100% of the proceeds to disease research.

The tournament will consist of 16 teams and will be single elimination, with every round consisting of a best of 3. The first map will be chosen by the winner of a coin toss, after which the map is chosen by the loser of each round.

Prizes:

1st Place: $1600

2nd Place: $800

3rd Place: $400

4th Place: $200

To be eligible, any team interested in participating can create an account on GameBattles and request their account be flagged by Blizzard for tournament play. The first 16 teams to verify that their accounts have been flagged for the tournament realm and complete tournament registration will be entered into the tournament. Teams are required to sign up with a roster of thirteen players, including three substitutes (two DPS and one healer) in case of no shows. The tournament date is being finalized for late March or early April.
