Being a mage in TBC I wore T5 for way to long. They had to nerf the 2 set going into WotLK or it would have still been BiS.

    ZA bear run

I think the best part is clearing Karazhan in early weeks in your blues and greens, great times.
Probably running on a Pentium 4

Dude 100% this. Idk why but every time I think of tbc I think of the bear runs we did. Even though it was technically a ‘catch up’ raid it was probably the funnest part of raiding for me in tbc along side stepping into kara for the first time.

Also, idk why but I also thought magisters terrace was fun as hell.

Yeah I loved those places. ZA, Kara, MgT.. Great places.

Actually, I might level a character to 70 and actually take part in some raiding. I didnt bother in classic cause I did all except Naxx, and I couldnt be bothered with doing all the job to clear nax now. I'd especially would like to take part in the Mt Hyjal raid.

    - Going through the Dark portal and entering Hellfire peninsula with roads made of corpses. (The Path of Glory) Fel reaver and boars that love to daze you off your mount. Everyone wanting a Foereaver polearm. Pretty good dungeons there too.

    - The scaling tree tops with the Sethekk in Terrokar Forest numerous parts in that zone. (What I wished for in Spires of Arak and we got a small taste of it again Ardenwweld, in Shimmerbough. I also thought those wings with that quest were super adorable.)

    - Speaking or Terrokar the Auchindoun and all the fantastic dungeons it offered. A long with massive battles at the summon stone in the middle. (PVP server)

    - Zangarmarsh lots of people enjoyed it there too including me. I actually use to get made fun of it because it was a swamp but I really enjoyed that zone dungeons were fantastic. (Same stone issues)

    - I'll leave others to talk about Nagrand.

    - Amazing starter raids, Karazhan, Gruul, Magtheridon.

    - Enviousness armors for Tier.

    - Killer mounts.

    - Two new smexy races added for each side.

    - Shattrath claiming the most deaths from me that expansion due to the elevator.

    - Very fun BGs around this time too.

I feel like I am missing a bunch but I felt like I said a lot too. So I am leaving it off there. Man we use to have a lot of dungeons and some pretty decent looking gear dropped from them at one point. (Classic was good for that also)

Heroics and everything that came along with them. It made the transition to endgame so much less of a "find a raiding guild" brick wall.
    FFXIV - Maduin (Dynamis DC)

I have very fond memories of early heroics (and a few nightmares) - it was a very stress-free period of my life though, and things have changed a LOT since then, so I highly doubt it would be anywhere near as enjoyable now.

The best part was when it ended and Wrath launched.

I actually most liked Karazhan, the badge system and Isle of Quel'Danas.

loved leveling, gearing, all raids, doing vanilla raid for fun and collecting, making alts, it was very time consuming because it was all so good

but to me the best part was the whole atmosphere
the beauty and music from nagrand
the loneliness from shattrath and azuremyst isle
    zangarmarsh
also the blood elves/sunwell feel was great

Best part was wotlk pre patch.

    Uh, and Hemet in Nagrand.
