Gold reduction in Callings

I've been noticing this trend for the past couple weeks. Callings used to reward somewhere in the range of 1700~1800 gold in vendor trash, with the occasional 2000 gold from the epic boxes. However, last week I was noticing the rewards being mostly around 1600g, and today I got my first sub-1500 gold box from a calling.

Has anyone else been noticing this trend, or am I just going through a really bad rng streak? Was there any talk about this from the blues that I missed?

This really pops out to me because I have addons that tally up gold spent/gained when I interact with a vendor, and it would be hard not to notice the downward trend.

The boxes can range from 1300-2000g. I thought similar when they first came out and ran a spreadsheet for a month with 3 characters and the average was around 1700g I think with some lows and highs.
