I can't believe this level of talent has fallen to the Bills.

JOK, Elijah Moore, Asante Samuel, can't go wrong, imo.

    I did but.... huh.

Think that Kevin King lowlight was playing on repeat in their heads? They basically drafted for raw speed.

It was all relatively nice and predictable till the Las Vegas Reachers came and fucked everything up.

I STILL want people getting savaged for perceived reaches. I really need to find a place to watch it next year where people get roasted for super reaching like the Raiders (and the Saints) did. Like the 'draft expert' on The Ringer for example is 'grading' picks. Nothing below a C. Like not everyone can nail their pick or just do okay. Some of these are flat out reaches, wrong players for their team and so on.

I said it in our Slack, but I listed Rousseau as an outside chance. We needed a DE, but wasn't sure how the Bills felt about the dude opting out, and we drafted a DE at the top of the 2nd last year.

JOK - we kinda didn't need a LB, but still.

Elijah Moore - we were already good at WR, but there's lots of depth...Rondale Moore in the 2nd seems like an idea.

Asante Samuel - woulda been nice, but might be depth still there in round 2, and we're putting a lot of trust in Levi Wallace.

You guys are in a good spot anyways, a team on the rise so you get to be a bit more fast and loose with picks, I felt like the Saints are doing that in 2021 thinking it is still 2020.

Yeah I think these late-1st teams are very much drafting to fill specific need holes this year.

Like the Packers. They watched King get beat downfield for a free touchdown. Their solution was to draft a raw speed CB that will at least give them a chance on those plays. Even if it was probably a reach.

Honestly I like Rousseau, watch Crossby in Vegas. Same style of giant wingspan edge rusher, they're amazing if they have the technique to make the most of their unique physique.

They shoulda drafted another QB since Rodgers is done and they whiffed on Love! /s

Jaguars and Jets are going to make out of this draft like bandits.

And the Texans may as well have had a 1st round pick.

    Go figure.

Yeah, Rousseau I think is seen as highest ceiling/rawest talent. After Josh Allen, I'm guessing Beane/McDermott are feeling good about developing him.

We're losing most of our line in the next few years, so it makes sense from a certain sense, but I'd have put Ojulari in over Rousseau.

Sure wasn't many trades this draft, that surprised me.

Honestly I think the two big pre-draft trades really froze the market.

The hauls given up for Matt Stafford and the #3 pick basically priced most movement out of the market.

The Rodgers news might have also froze some movement with teams that might have moved up instead saying "we're going to hold our capital and see if a Rodgers trade develops."

Yeah and there was again not a lot of ability to scout college players this year with covid, so likely Teams focused on certain players they felt comfortable with.

With the amount of talent that fell into the 2nd, there's gonna be a good number of early trades tomorrow.
