There's some real good dumb stuff in there.
It got to the point where people were just making burner accounts and posting random shit, because you'd then have like a five or six page thread of many people going "OMG this one's legit!"
It was less posting bait and more just throwing the whole chum bucket into the water.
Most leaks banked on extrapolating information we had. They had a *hint* of truth to them that made them seem more authentic.
The closest shadowlands ones involved Sylvanas dying or killing lots of people. 'Leaked' Shadowlands zones involved the Sylverian Dreamer store mount that seemed to have a connection to another realm. The funniest ones involved Sylvanas becoming the new Lich Queen.
Usually you can guess the first half of the expansions story pretty accurately.
It's the second half where the next expansions story is set up that people almost never get right.
every leak (apart from the two pictures) i saw was 98-100% false, so yeah, some of the guesswork was on point, but if there is 10 000 guesses some of them have to be at least partialy right...
and sory, but if something is presented as leak and its almost entirely false its clear its not leak but a lucky guess
Throw enough mud at a wall and some is bound to stick. Most of these "leaks" revolve around the following:
- new zones
- level cap increase
- new raids and dungeons
- etc
Some have a stab at specific details, such as setting, but very few come close. I am not aware of any that have predicted new systems, and those are basically the core of the game now.

LOL! we were typing that at the same time obviously! great minds think alike and all that.
leaks can't be right by definition since blizzard (or any other game developer) plans change all the time, that's just how it is
which is also why they don't communicate officially long in advance
Sometimes I wonder if "leaks" that turn out to be true, were just strategically released nuggets to fuel a hype machine...
More importantly, are we getting next expansion announcement within 2021?
Take...? This isn't Twitter. Nor was this the definition of a "take".
"You're wrong and I'm right" sorry you feel that way man. Don't gotta beat yourself up and act out in defense if someone dares to imply they saw something you didn't.

If we go off of how slow 9.1 is being developed, probably not. Probably won't even see 9.2 until very late 2021/very early 2022
People already name dropped it here, on Reddit, and on YouTube though.
how much of bellulars grandiose proclamations from the last few years are turning out to be true?
