Always give the advice for new player to pick up EVERYTHING. Every herb, every item, every ore. Everything has a use, most things have multiple uses. A lot of stuff required to level characters and weapons that you may not have right now.

Also start hitting trees for wood early, once you get to the second zone, you'll get the housing system that requires different types of wood from different types of trees

Yeah you defiantly wanna pick up everything. Housing is nice but takes alot of mats. My alt account is constantly low on lots of shit. It can also suck if all the characters you like/got all require the same mats.

Greatsword/geo users are the best at gathering ores and Noelle is probably the most useful f2p character as she can shield and heal. Her best weapon is also craftable.

If you can try lvling up enough to do the event that is going on now you'll get a bunch of high lvl mats and stuff as rewards.

How can someone not pull for that glorious pyro archer

Depending on when her banner is coming out and what 4* are on it, I might actually skip both Kazuha and any other banners between now and when she finally shows up. I might even skip the Ganyu rerun, if that also pops up before then.

I've been severely lacking in Pyro characters I actually enjoying using, in a game where Pyro seems to be heavily favored over all the other elements when it comes to most content in the game. In particular, a Pyro archer will be incredibly useful for everything from solving certain, commonly found world puzzles, to sniping weak points on certain bosses.

Obviously, Amber exists but even with Constellations, she still feels absolutely awful to play. To me, at least. Yomiya, on the other hand, seems much straight-foreword, in terms of her attacks and abilities, and is likely to be fairly strong just be virtue of the fact that she is a 5* and, again, uses the heavily favored Pyro element.

Ideally, I'll probably want both. In addition to the fact that Ganyu is obviously strong on her own, I feel like they'd actually be a nice compliment to each other, with Ganyu freezing stuff and Yomiya then melting it. However, of the two, Yomiya is definitely more of a priority for me, right now.

That being said, since there hasn't been any sort of hard confirmation that a rerun is coming, if Ganyu is indeed returning at some point it will likely be after Yomiya's banner, so I might not have to choose. That being said, I wouldn't put it past Mihoyo to mess with the perceived release order just to screw with leakers and the people who follow them.

Wow... Yoimiya's Ascension passives are insane.

And her synergy with Xinqiu/off-field is insane as well unless that doesn't work off-field (it's written like a co-op ability). Sounds super fun to play.

Fischl is better with 4 set Thundersoother as OZ applys electro on them 100% of time and you have 35% increased damage.

Its from placing the new sets. The sets show which characters like em and will give you an interaction/reward.

Your bird sells them as well as a few new items. In order to see the sets you learn you gotta be in editing mode and click on sets then the symbol to the right. They also only show up depending on if they are inside or outside.


Also if you click on the set it shows you who can give you a gift from it.

Ok got it. Managed four sets so far and got everyone's gift from each. I assume the gifts are one-time only. Even weekly that might be too much, it's a nice boost. And the conversations you can have seem to be tied to that character's friendship level. Which you can build by leaving em in the pot. Working on my eighth level 10 with Beidou. haven't really focused on friendship. I've seen some people have like 20 already capped.

Not gonna lie, but the music of the new event area is super chill and fun to listen too. I wish it wouldn't just stop .

It's almost like in FFXIV where it gets interrupted every few seconds through combat music etc.
