Yeah, Anduin will regret doing this despite not having any control.

The Alliance command had no prior knowledge that a blitz would turn into a direct attack to Teldrassil. And all things considered neither did the Horde.
Anduin shows remorse when he has to attack Undercity and is conflicted when talking to Sylvanas. A shame the overarching narrative places Anduin in a contradictory spot, but it's not due to the fate of Teldrassil.

Yeah. That's the hope. Anduin could find some due grit and undergo another trial much like the one prior to finding Shalamayne on the Broken Shore.

Always thought of Darion more like a similiar person to sylvanas than Anduin. Darion basically showed that even when not having a choice, being cursed to be undead and enslaved you can turn around and fight for ‚‘good‘‘. Darion should be the worst person in existance for Sylvanas, because he is proof for how she always had a choice, and no one is to blame but herself.

However I kinda now wish to have Darion confront Anduin how he was confronted at Lightshope by Tirion

But is important reason for not compare them. Sylvanas (and Uther) was killed by Frostmourne. Who was stated splited their souls. There is no hint that similar happened to Darion, after he stab himself there wasn't reaction about soul split, only Light/soul of thousand Lordareon heroes destroying scrouge army, laid blessing for that place. He has similar, just more cynical point of view. Only protest for raising Tirion is for moral reason, despite Darion known that is unpractical to attact Light Hope.

Rest of horseman, known DKs didn't told about missing half of soul. They have broken souls. They don't feeling like living, but they feel for ex. friedship between Nazgrim and Thoras

However I kinda now wish to have Darion confront Anduin how he was confronted at Lightshope by Tirion
Darion or Alexandros confronting Anduin is impossible, beceause Blizzard don't see similarity between them.

Why Darion and Anduin are similar, its a a meme but people want adopt them. Tirion at epilogue of Ashbringer comic said that Darion resemble Taelan to him. (That make his questchain from Vanilla more tragic, In time of few weeks or moths he found out that his war comrade was dead, soul lost to cursed blade, his comrade son sacrofaicially killed himself, Tirion attemp to free his son, ended with Taelan death.) So Tirion friedship to Darion in WoLK resemble adopted father/son. Paladin freeing DK, and DK saving him. In Shadowlands Genn said that Sylvanas is reason he lost another.... He wanted call Anduin his son. Of course Bolvar practically raised Anduin.Anybody wants adopt Arthas?
Very intense relation with Bolvar. Anduin is almost his adopted son and Bolvar care about him evan now. Darion cared about Bolvard for years (WoD quest) to looked for a way to save unLichKing him. Bolvar repaided with painfull death (4 horseman plot) and mind control (We ride forth). Maybe that was Helmet. Now Bolvar and Darion are in agreement.

Yeah, Anduin will regret doing this despite not having any control. If Arthas or Sylvanas (please don't discus who is/was worse) use corruption/misled as justifacation in "did nothing wrong". Anduin will regret may be for not being strong enough to resist Jailer, (did anyone mortal can, probably not)

Darion chooses damnation to save what he can. Arthas chooses to cull Stratholme to save his kingdom. Anduin never chose violence of any kind
Not nessesary true, Darion suicide its based of his faith "The Light led me of the darkness once. Perphaps it can do so again." He traded his soul for his father and Argent Dawn, but even the comic end with Alexandros spoke that he will never give up Darion.
Anduin chosen violence in Legion comic "Son of the Wolf" intro, when he fought and won against a Dreadlord.
