Can Blizzard please sell a license for WoW IP to Dreamhaven so Mike & Co can start working on World of Warcraft 2? Blizzard can stay as publisher, I don’t care.

He doesn't because the facts on how this came together are widely known. Activision-Blizzard was a holding company created in 2008 as a result of the merger of Activision and Vivendi games. The holding company owns both Activision and Blizzard who operate as two separate entities with their own CEO's. Eric Hirschberg and J. Allen Brack. Those CEO's report to the Activision-Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick.
We're not talking corporate structure. You specifically said:

Which is technically the truth since Activision-Blizzard is who has control over Blizzard. Yes the CEO of Activision Blizzard and some of its board/employees came from Activision but that doesn't mean Activision calls the shots since Activision is a child company the same as Blizzard. It has only been since 2013 that Activision Blizzard had no parent company as well.

You know a community is bad when moderators lock a thread because "...this isnt the place to talk about it either seeing as it will get trolled..."

    That's a groundless assumption. ;]
In my country we have a saying~"the hungry artist is the most prolific".
Actually my opinion is that WoW current state is mostly due to two things:
    1) lack of real competition for years
    2) blizzard costumers accepting every spit that landed on their face while still paid generously for their products.
That's not a setting to improve and advance but rather to collect money and give as much fk as possible.

They don't. Activision-Blizzard does. I was specifically referring to the corporate structure when I said that. thye fact that you refuse to link anything and just repeat what you said proves you have nothing. Activision does not have control over Blizzard. Activision-Blizzard does. Understand the difference and stop lying..

Thank you. Someone who gets it. It's a holding company, Activision-Blizzard, led by CEO Bobby Kotick that call the shots for both Activision and Blizzard., Activision's CEO, Eric Hirschberg, does not call the shots for Blizzard while J.Allen Brack, CEO of Blizzard does not call shots for Activision,

This is like next level cringelord shit.

I mean I'm most definitely not a "woke lefty" myself, but what is uncovered is pretty fucking bad and there is no two shits about that one no matter if you are left, right or center.

Sexual harassment is bad and sexual harassment by superiors at work that hold you hostage with a "dream" job is worse and it's just down to being a decent human being at that point and not "herpa derp woke politics".

And yes, Afrasiabi was already terminated by Blizz for that shit, so you can bet the shit is real. Now you'd be right to say something - let the judge decide based on actual facts and not feels, but that shit absolutely and totally happened and this is not something you should be defending.

Don't you worry, despite all the solemn messages of regret, ActiBlizz will wall up to the teeth with lawyers and shit. They have all the $$ for world class defense to cut them a good settlement given the situation. They don't need random forum trolls defending them.

And if part of the settlement and change would be taming some of their shit both at workplace and ingame, I'm all for it. IMO, WoW could use some toxic crap reduction from various "big dick" cringelords too.

That won't happen, because nobody is even asking for it.

What will happen is monetary settlement and then some internal cleaning up.

    Absolutely NOTHING will happen.

People think that lawsuits or women being groped or baldman streaming FFXIV will suddenly make blizzard/devs change their ways and go back to how things were 15 years ago. It's not gonna happen. Why? Because if they're still making rivers of cash, which they are, they do not care, at all.

There can be news that a dev is actually a serial killer, or they can make a patch with some absurd shit which completely, 100% breaks the game, doesn't matter. If they can still reskin a mount in 15 minutes and make billions selling it + 6 months of subs, they're laughing all the way to the bank.

The only way to REALLY fix this situation is if people could just stop being retarded, consoooomer whales and stop giving them money. Then you will see 1 year of changes happening in 1 week.

The alternative is to just quit the game and stop caring. Slowly but surely, there will be less and less players around and the whales will be sad because there's nobody around to see their new store mount. Then they will quit as well, and blizzard will finally take the trash out and start a shitty WoW2.
