If you don't like the current patch.... Why not just go play the older content?

Nazjatar is still there. So is Argus, and the Broken Shore, and Timeless Isle, Mechagon, N'Zoth's corrupted Uldum and Vale....

Like. Why not just play the content you like instead of "quitting" or whining when the current patch isn't your cup of tea?

Let me think for a second: because WoW is made in a way that makes old content irrelevant for character progression plus people have paid for the xpac so it is reasonable they would expect content for their money.

Your argument has about as much logic as your signature.

If I wanted to play Timeless Isle again I would just wait for MoP classic to experience it as close to what it was.

Do you even play wow? If you did you'd know that's not possible.

Hm... let me think. Hmmmm... Hmmmmm... Ah Yes. MAYBE BECAUSE I NOW OUTSCALE THOSE ZONES BY 10-20-30 LEVELS?

Actually I do, I am on a new playthrough of Frozen Throne.
    Old content is great!

i Don't think you thought this thread topic through.
how can you expect people to go back and play mostly irrelevant/obsolete content if they do not like the current content? The current content being the intended game?
you might as well have said "just go back to elwynn forest and kill boars" at least people would think you are trolling then

If you played wow - you would realise it is possible...

Challenge Mode : Play WoW like my disability has me play:
You will need two people, Brian MUST use the mouse for movement/looking and John MUST use the keyboard for casting, attacking, healing etc.
Briand and John share the same goal, same intentions - but they can't talk to each other, however they can react to each other's in game activities.
Now see how far Brian and John get in WoW.

Possible to do the content? Sure, anythings possible.
Possible to enjoy the content as it was intended? Not possible.

Because I have done that content. On several characters in fact. And I cannot even experience it at the intended difficulty level or with the intended community as when it was new.
I still so old content to collect mounts and transmog, but I have also been doing that for quite many years now and I almost burnt myself out doing it in WoD when there was nothing else but raiding to do.

I understand your sentiment, but for those of us who have played this content it is not the same. So for many it is better to just quit and wait for the new patch.

Pretty much @tomten response. Also to add that you are playing old content with current classes, so you can't play with intended damage and scaling, and if one of your current issues is how bad the classes and combat have become, then it doesn't matter how much you enjoy older poorly scaled content, you are stuck with interacting with the game in a way you just don't like

You do content to progress your character.

There is no point to go back and do old content.

And here we have the biggest problem in WOW. Because of this "progress" the whole game is made like a grind fest...

Hmm... On a whim of nostalgia, back when I was having fun, I would roll through old zones and explore territory that I never been to. Even sometimes grabbing old quests to see how a particular story went.

This, a thousand times this. I yearn for the days of MoP class design but it seems the only way we can get something similar is with MoP Classic and that would take years.

I shouldn't need to resort to doing old content to entertain myself in a current day patch.

Because we already did those patches when they were current?

do you understand how the game is designed, right? If "older" current was relevant in the endgame of today's game, all anyone WOULD run is older content for the superior gear, tier sets, etc.

But it's all just cosmetic, and solo'able... meaning it has z-e-r-o value.
