KOTOR was a great game for the time, but it's writing to say it was mediocre would be an understatement. Outside of Canderous Ordo and Jolee Bindo that is and a LOT of the dialogue, characters and decisions are crap.

Indeed. It's being handled by Aspyr, a company that has thus far only been known for making ports. Which leads me to believe that "remaking the game from ground-up" means it's a new engine for the eyecandy, but otherwise the exact same game.

That is so far from the truth that I don't know what type of internet you are using. No gamer that I have seen complains of a game being woke if it includes a female lead. That's is so huge of leap that is almost a lie. Ever since nes there have been female protags so its not rare to see a female lead and some of the most famous leads are females so I don't know what internet you are from but the general internet doesn't care if the protag is male or female. And from the very start I outlined how the writer is a raging misandrist.

I am sorry, but seriously, it is used that way. Just because you haven't encountered it means nothing.

People complained the Tomb Raider Reboot was "woke" because they reduced Lara's bust. People complain Horizon Zero Dawn is woke because Aloy isn't pretty enough. Hell, I encountered someone that said that the God of War that come out was "woke." Or that Assassin's Creed is "woke" because something with the latest one.

Every time we got a female that deviates from the usual standards we got used to for years, people start to dissect everything, trying so hard to find any kind of political agenda, fictional or real.

To be fair, I have a problem with Abby's physique in the Last of Us. But, it is more a minor problem I have with her character. She is just so boring, and her "story" is just fetch quest after fetch quest with no real "goal" for her character.

But, people complaining it was woke annoyed me. I was more annoyed with the fact Abby failed to meet her potential and wasted the talents of Laura Bailey.

KOTOR 3 will never happen.

First, it's story took place in the Revan novel. Second, it was a tie in to SWTOR, where you have a KOTOR3/4/5, etc. You can play SWTOR by yourself. You are not forced to group, unless you want to. The story is now free to play as well.
Stop asking for a KOTOR3 and actually go play it.

First up. You are having an opinion, a very narrow and short sighted one. Second up, I've already playied SWTOR years ago (I hit max level on the beta at that), it was "ok", it was also a WoW style MMORPG that shares little in common with KOTOR. Your post/opinion isn't original and it isn't going to sway anyone, by all means you believe what you want but you're not the person who gets to decide whether they can or cannot make KOTOR3.

Because KOTOR is a good game with a fun story.
If the developers made KOTOR more like a action RPG with broader story and more to do then the game itself will be a instant buy for most people. I personally always felt like there was more to the story of the individual worlds you visited then what we got.

I find it amusing that people can call some developers lazy for reusing assets, content, etc. Blizzard, for instance. Yet people get hyped for a remake.
