This music? Why? 85% of it isn't good or memorable

Should I really have to give you the definition of the word "subjective"?

One thing that is objective however is that WoW's music has become more and more forgettable as they stopped using nuance and tried to turn everything into a big orchestral piece

This might be true for The Maw and Maldraxxus' music, but I have to stand up for their work on Ardenweald, Revendreth and Bastion this go'round.

The nuance is there, and there is still a very awesome set of talent behind the game's music. David Arkenstone for example, is a longtime composer who I'm thrilled still works on this game. Check out his solo work on Spotify too ^^

Of course we all miss Jason Hayes Classic sounds and Russell Brower's Wrath meloncholic or Warlords amped feel.

Shadowlands feels like it's sorely missing any musical reference to Arthas with the lack of 'Invincible', or 'Arthas, My Son'. No doubt in my mind because Russell had some contract worked up. :P

Ohhhh awesome, I love the new music. I dont know what changed from wod to Shadowlands. But they really stepped up. Classic - Mop with a few exceptions was such weak music

Still subjective and not objective at all. And by big orchestral pieces you mean Russel Brower's music, the guy who composed for TBC onwards? Lmao.

BFA has the best WoW music in my opinion. There are bombastic tracks but there's also plenty of subdued ones such as the theme in Voldun, certain Zuldazar tracks, Nazjatar and pretty much every zone in the expansion.

SL is riddled with peaceful and serene tracks such as the ones in bastion and ardenweald as the other poster mentioned

but you choose to ignore them because they don't fit pushing your crappy narrative of "old blizzard good new blizzard bad". The problem with the wow community is how idiots like you think their opinions are "objective" which is fucking cringe.

Honestly, Shadowlands is the first ever Expansion that I cannot recall a single piece of music from. It's painfully forgettable, like elevator music. It's there, and it's not painful on the ears, but I couldn't remember any of it if you paid me for it.

The Venthyr theme(s) are pretty unique and cool, and Maldraxxus doesn't have bad music either. It's not Mists, WoD or BfA level of good music (whatever else one can say about those expansions) but there's good stuff here and there.

I can’t believe the children on this website. Music is subjective people.
