I'd still play the game because it's not the only reason I play it, but I'd feel like I'm missing quite a huge part of the story/lore/gameplay because I don't have time to play in a guild and do normal raiding, or even PU raids.

I don't think LFR has ever been an issue appart from, at times, the rewards from it that could feel mandatory to get for some higher raiders. The system in itself, giving the opportunity to more players to do the raids and get some gear, is fine.

It's been a guild tradition to queue LFR end boss after getting cutting edge. I'll miss that

I dont care about LFR at all, but know many players who use it.
Idk why you want to remove it, if you don't like it you can just ignore it, it doesnt interfere with other gameplay.

  4. #24
Only use it on alts but rarely, usually only looking for trinkets.

It wouldn't change anything for me at all and would only change things for people who do LFR which would be stupid as fuck. Why would anyone take something like that? It's like removing pet battles. Only people who would care are the ones who enjoy it and people who don't like it are unaffected.

So, now I wouldn't play without good outdoor content. That's, what actually happens now.
Just to call you out - you have been saying same things for last 4 years. Literally telling everyone how you don't play the game. xD funny

Oh look, another anti LFR thread. Must be a Tuesday

I’d stop paying a sub if they did.

Changes nothing for me as I don't do it, so I would be playing if it was removed.

But just as well, what's your problem with it?

I think I didn't use LFR once this expansion. Though admittedly I didn't gear up an alt and I could have run it with them.

To all the people saying “I dont use LFR anyway”, this thread is obviously not directed towards you xD

I dont think that this is a valid point. Without "raiding" the game would shrink to a point near death. SWTOR showed what happens with no and/or low new raid content. They focused for years on cosmetics (like SL outside of raids/m+/pvp) and the game is nearly dead. Its a great game, but so many players left the building.

@OP lol LFR. Its something like a manure pit of the playerbase for me. Its unrewarding, toxic and more detterend than helpful for players to start into raiding. For a player who wants to learn the mechanics and start into raiding, it would be way better to create something like the "char test" or the MoP Solo Challenges. A solo experience to learn how the raidencounters work and how raiding work.
I dont care for LFR at all, if blizz removes it, i wouldnt notice it

Ill still but LFR is in perfect place in here IMO. Im on tourist mode atm. I do like challange hc/myth but not all the time. Sometimes i focus more on lore some on challange or both. If i wanna just to trip around new content i do use LFR and it is in good place for me.

sure would, as when I play the game I don't use LFR anyway.
Even during my hyper casual period in 7.3 I didn't ran LFR.

The only raid tier where LFR was in my way was Tier 13 (Dragon Soul). This was the very first raid that featured it. It felt required to be done because:
-it haven't got any delay of release (to the point of a world-first contender getting banned for exploiting it lol)
-the gear was only slightly less ilvl than normal/hc whilst still holding powerful tier sets and trinkets
-it ran modified need/greed roll system meaning you could bring friends that could funnel gear to you and vice versa. Yes it didn't even had personal loot.

Every subsequent raid was significantly delayed on LFR mode. By the time LFR was coming out I would be deep into Normal mode or even in Heroic/Mythic.

Otherwise LFR feels like a waste of time, especially when it's relatively new and raids are still wiping in there. I remember people having particularly bad experiences with N'Zoth. Raids were reaching 10 stacks of determination and were still getting rekt by this encounter, to the point that it was nearly impossible to kill it, or get a fresh LFR on Carapace.

i would still pay as it would shorten my play time with less mog sets to collect as i dont want to farm normal to collect the sets onj alts

Yeah, I'd just go and solo stuff 2 expansions later

reverting to the standard mode normal/ hc 10/25 would instantly revert the gap between the now 4 tiers of one raid
