It was released on their official youtube channel, so why is the quality of that trailer such dogshit?
Definitely looks like they're doing a Hush story, though.

no matter how i look it, i can only see Robbert Pattison as the batman from Batman Beyond
maybe ebcause i watched too much the cartoon and read some Hqs where he is too buffy.
Might become the best Batman movie so far.
They're keeping a dark and gritty tone (lke the comics). Seems like DC is doing this a lot more compared to Marvel where you get a joke every 2 minutes.
"If you are what you HAVE and you lose what you have, what then are you? But if you are what you ARE and you lose what you have, no man controls your destiny".
Sigh...I just want the only good Batman...Say it with me Christian Bale
A Twilight and harry potter actor? Im sorry but...

Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.
Thats such an idiotic way to judge actors. Pick there earliest work then typecast them for all time. You know twilight came out over 10 years ago and in the meantime Pattinson has become a seriously talented character actor.
Colin Farrel is absolutely unrecognisable as Penguin.
Also Michael Cain and Jeremy Irons were fantastic Alfreds but god damn I think Andy Serkis is inspired casting.
Looking at the trailer I think I liked it. Catwoman looks great and Colin Farrell under all that make up looks interesting. Batman looks a bit young, but thats okay if this was a movie that sort of takes place during his earlier years and that he is trying to grow, so I could appreciate that.
The tone bothers me though. Say what you want about every other Batman incarnation they all had different tones, this one looks like it wants to be Nolans Batman again, which isn't bad I enjoyed the Nolan Batman movies, so maybe its good who knows.
agree, it did become a bit of a meme, but he was a better Bruce Wayne

I love Warcraft, I dislike WoW
Unsubbed since January 2021, now a Warcraft fan from a distance
I didn't realize that was the penguin in the trailer until someone mentioned it, to me best penguin was from the tv show gotham, wish he would appear in a movie..his performance (n hair) were awesome
Michael Keaton was the best Bruce Wayne.
And here is a hot take that im sure will upset some of you, Heath Ledgers performance of Joker is only held so high because he killed himself shortly thereafter. It was ok, but nowhere near as great as people make it out to be.
Bale lacked the gravitas that Batman needs for me, which isn't a knock on him because Batman is a bloody hard role to get right. But when Batman is on screen, all eyes should be on him. He should exude a personality of force that makes everyone look. Bale was overshadowed by the villain in each of his movie, with the most obvious being the Joker in The Dark Knight. He didn't play Batman as that convincing force. This may totally have been the director's choice, no doubt, but for my money this is what makes Bale's Batman weaker than it should have been.
Compare it to somebody like Keaton who also had to deal with a super over the top Joker, but still managed to hold attention in their scenes, and had a much more commanding presence, despite his smaller stature.
I have no idea how Pattinson will do in the role, but judging him just on Twilight does him a disservice as he's had some incredible performances since. His performance in The Lighthouse is absolutely amazing. But a lot will depend on how the director guides his performance and what kind of movie they decide to craft.
