Because the story itself doesn't have to do with the intent of the thread. The reason we were on the Rittenhouse trial and verdict was because the shooting involved a BLM protest and BLM members, as well as other trials and stories involving unarmed or otherwise non-threatening persons suffering under an unjust police or legal system.
Brookes was a dumb cunt with a rap sheet that drove into a crowed of people in a botched getaway after stabbing someone and being let out on a far too lenient bond, and if you really want to talk about it you can make a thread about it as we usually do for tragic news stories of this nature an scale.
And I'm only confident in saying it's a bad faith discussion because you and the other two people harping on about this only decided to join this thread to A: Gloat about the Rittenhouse Acquittal and B: Concern Troll over this tragedy. Nothing about any of the other victims of police violence who I'd imagine should also garner sympathy that you just-so-happened to not show until you could lord this massacre over other's heads to prove some point. In essence; just using the victims as a soapbox to decry your political opponents, and that's fucking disgusting.
Which makes no mention of any political activity by the accused, no political motives, nothing that would support your repeated bullshitting about "the Left".
Nobody has defended that attack. Every bit of evidence indicates it's a career criminal who got close to the parade route, was confronted by cops to turn him back, and reacted appallingly thinking they were after him, specifically. There's nothing political to this tragedy. No support for the accused, no justifications offered for his actions, nothing. You're making that shit up.
He deserves to never see the outside of a cell for the rest of his life. That's not a difficult thing to say, because there's no political agenda here, despite you desperately trying to manufacture one.
It's also off topic, since there's nothing about it that has anything to do with police abuses of power or the protests around them.
Which thus far is literally just you.
The video showed that he pointed his rifle at the men before they engaged him in conflict. Kyle admitted to pointing his gun at them first.
Stop making shit up. That you're saying "You can't make things up in court" is hilarious.
Ah yes, vigilante justice. "They committed a crime previously, and even though they served out their punishment, they should have been killed anyway"As for you last point. I believe that almost everyone who deserved to get shot there got shoot barring jump kick man.
Vigilante justice is illegal for a reason. But thanks for admitted you hate the constitution I guess.

WaPo: This summer’s Black Lives Matter protesters were overwhelmingly peaceful, our research finds.
In short, our data suggest that 96.3 percent of events involved no property damage or police injuries

Weather systems not strong enough to graduate from a tropical storm to a hurricane can cause hundreds of millions of dollars in damage. And yet shitheads on Fox (or wherever else you consume your preferred right-wing propaganda) aren't out there talking about "cities being destroyed" whenever hurricane season kicks off.
The best part is, if you want to save a city the ~$50 million in damage the "riots" cause, you can simply improve policing to the point where they aren't routinely trying to murder citizens. If only preventing hurricane damage was so easy.
