It's usually funny but this kind of gag is waaay overdone.

DLC has been going on for so long that sometimes I think Keydar's stuff is commissioned by Blizzard.

TGP audience bigger than mdi and awc combined with prize pool of $20.000, sick content support blizzard might as well just make it some title and keep the money.

The South Park episode was wholeheartedly embraced and supported by Blizzard despite making fun of the playerbase, game, devs, etc.

I just don't know what motivates this man to make free comics of the same game with the same characters for 15+ years.

Anything more than 20k, and Kotick wouldn't be able to afford another Yacht.

They were only able to get Kotick to skip one day of breakfast at a local millionaire diner. So that's the price money; one days breakfast worth of chump change.

The Great Push. Sounds like what happened to me last night after I ate Taco Bell.

I think the current atmosphere at Blizz would likely not have allowed South Park to make an episode, or there would be more pushback and sanitizing of the episode. Blizz was a much different company back then, and being able to make fun of yourself or allowing others to make fun of yourself is something that's sorely missing at Blizz. The current culture at Blizz is more in line with those crazies that espouse humor as being a tool of the alt-right, and everything must be sanitized in order to not be problematic and offensive, even if they're jokes. Those that try to shut down or stifle humor tend to be on the wrong side of history. As the paraphrased saying goes, what the Devil hates most is to be mocked.
“Society is endangered not by the great profligacy of a few, but by the laxity of morals amongst all.”
“It's not an endlessly expanding list of rights — the 'right' to education, the 'right' to health care, the 'right' to food and housing. That's not freedom, that's dependency. Those aren't rights, those are the rations of slavery — hay and a barn for human cattle.”

    WoW Players: Only $20,000?
Also WoW Players: $15 a month is way too much for a subscription!

Well, $15 per month is too much for this game in its current state.

The guy does have a Patreon with ~350 people giving him at least $1 per month (factoring in the cut Patreon takes means he's making at least $310/mo from that), and the site has ads and a small store.

The comic is free to view, that doesn't mean he doesn't get anything from it.

Are they going to allow exploits in the grand finals this time again?
