Putting in a hobbled, high on pain killer Bridgewater over Lock for the 2nd half shows what the coaching staff thinks of Lock.

Denver's top 5 draft picks started today and another gets a lot of playing time. Good signs for next year since they all are playing pretty well. Hopefully they get coaches that know what timeouts and challenges are actually for.

They're gonna look real good with Rodgers under center next year.

Elway lined up behind a guard instead of the center before too.

I don't think that will happen so I'm on the Carson Strong bandwagon instead.

Hey, at least you won. Drove through the game, couldn't even get it on the radio, what did you think?

4 ints in one game makes me think Lamar is a one and done qb in the playoffs. Both teams looked terrible.

The funny thing is he's actually a decent QB with an excellent td-int ratio but his buffoonery overshadows his skill at times. He's the only QB that could pull something like that off and still having a starting job in the NFL no questions asked.

So Rasul Douglas got another game-swinging INT yesterday for the Packers. Reminder this guy was grabbed off Arizona's practice squad back in October.

Packers have done what they had to do going into the bye, they swept the NFC West so they have a good selection of tiebreakers. Now they just need to win out and the 1st seed should be their's.

Yes Arizona is ahead, but Arizona has to play the NFC West still this season so I expect they'll log a surprise loss or two.

Since when does returning an extra point give 2 points? I thought it was a big deal that you could finally get 1 point.

When they made moving the PAT an official rule change.

I know Pete is getting a lot of justified hate lately here in Seattle, but Russell just looks horrible every game even pre injury. Hes by far the worst QB on 3rd down.

It was 1 before that? I thought it didn’t give any points.

I believe it was a dead ball before the change. All they did was make the ball live.

Yeah, Sherman returned an extra point a long time ago against the 49ers and it was a point iirc.

Quick thing I could find was this article: https://www.nfl.com/news/nfl-moves-e...p3000000493347

According to the rule change, if the defense returns a blocked extra point or failed two-point try for a touchdown (i.e. on an interception), they will be awarded two points. Under the previous rule the ball was dead on a failed try.

A lot of QBs look very bad this year and I think teams need to start having a serious discussion about why they're letting them skip offseason programs.

I don't think thats the issue with Wilson. It wasn't the first half of last year. Wilson's decline came after that Arizona game last year and hasn't recovered.

He's a 33 year old undersized qb with nearly 5000 career rushing yards who has taken a TON of sacks in his career. Maybe it's catching up to him. In 20 years Brees was sacked 420 times, Russ is at 414 7 games into year 10.

I honestly agree. He holds onto the ball too long and sees ghosts. Before he was quick enough to evade and make up for that. Now, hes not nearly fast enough.

That and they've often had a terrible offensive line.

I mean, Russ has been bailing out Pete Carroll for like 7 years at this point. And now that he's lost a step, Pete is being exposed not only for his shitty coaching, but the inability of the franchise in general to build an actual franchise around Russ.

Dak has better talent around him, but I expect the same results for him in the next 5 years or so - except without the Super Bowl appearances, let alone a Super Bowl win.
