Her reasoning and intentions may be good, but that still makes it a hostile work environment rife with distractions and such for EVERYONE that worked there, not just the assholes she happened to find.

Before we jump to conclusions:

1) We have no idea what she was actually doing at work. This is one off-the-cuff statement that could be fabricated.

2) We have much more elaborated-upon stories of abusers at acti-blizz, which very much justify "riling people up". Did we forget about the woman that had her nudes shared and then committed suicide?

My point still stands. Someone who goes around the office intentionally riling people up doesn't belong in the workplace, especially if that's not your job. No, the stuff happening at Blizzard does not justify an employee who's job is not to rattle the cage and see what falls out to go around doing that.

All that does is create a hostile work environment for everyone, not just the one's the person is reportedly riling up.

They were former Everquest players, not former Everquest developers. They were hired by Blizzard after WoW was already in production to bring in more people familiar with what was then a very new genre.
