    It takes two.

If you have someone close you can play a couple coop game with, that thing slaps. I kinda didnt hear of it until recently and then it won goty. Its just short enough to never get repetitive, long enough to be enjoyable, creative enough, well told story, actually funny. I really cant find flaws with the game, its a puzzle coop game that set out to tell a wholesome story and it did just that without ever being repetitive. Looks amazing, art direction is top notch.

    FF14 Endwalker: 6/10

Overall its good, but not great. To me most of the MSQ felt rushed and I didn't enjoy where they took the story. Felt like they struggled to tie everything they setup together in one expansion, but some executives demanded for the current plot to end so new players have an easier starting point next expansion.

Other than the MSQ its more of the same. Thats not bad, the core gameplay loop is fine. But overall I felt like this expansion offered less than the previous ones:
    * There are no new features like Trust, etc. There are now "stealth" escort quests, but for me those were annoying.
    * The zones felt more empty. Especially the moon. Previously the sidequests went along with the MSQ. Now you are done with the MSQ in very little time using barely anything from the environment and then the game dumps sidequests on you so they didn't design the whole area for naught.
    * I noticed the recycling of gear models a lot more this time.

    After Shadowbringers I expected better.

That's not true. FFVII Remake ran at a constant 120fps at 4k. On PS5 the resolution is dynamic and drops to 30fps. The hitches people were seeing in FF are minor stutters in specific sections; like climbing a particular ladder or turning a specific corner.

The game is made in the Unreal Engine, what exactly is stopping them to do a proper port with proper graphic options.
The only thing stopping them is the fact that they don't need to, to sell the product. FFVII could've looked a 100 times better if they swapped out the shitty PS textures and added some raytracing. That said, graphics aren't very important anyway.

Warhammer 40,000 Inquisitor Martyr. 7/10. Game was released while back in very rough state. Now it's a decent Diablo "clone" in WH40K setting.

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, i'm only 10 hours in but so far it feels pretty similar to kingmaker but with a more interesting story and character progression, tho i find the combat to be among the least enjoyable out of the crpg's that i've played

This is why I haven't touched it yet. I'll wait for the full game.

I was intrigued by this one but the buzz around launch was that it was buggy AF and decent for a couple hours but not much more than that if you strip away the 40K license. Was wondering if it was any better post launch; it's fairly cheap now but I'll buy a couple big games in the next few months so I don't need to add to my already loaded backlog.

The PS5 is dynamic 4k@60FPS, locked 4K@30FPS, no?

I quite like it. It's not quite like Diablo in that you move with wsad and shoot with your mouse. It has a good enemy variety with Chaos, Tyranids, Eldar and Dark Eldar, the story is ok, the dungeons/maps are a very same-ish (although that comes with the setting). They have some fun maps with you playing a titan or a tank some times. Classes play differently and different weapons change the playstyle, too.
It's not a big AAA game, it's a bit rough around the edges but i had fun.. Stay away from the DLCs though, most mission DLC are just super generic dungeons with a text story or random arenas, not worth it. You can unlock them ingame for "free", too, same with the pets.
I didn't encounter any bugs in my ~70 hours of playtime.

    I'd give it 7/10, too.

It never runs at a stable 60fps as far as I know. It also suffers from pretty severe pop-ins. That said, it might have been patched, who knows. What certain is that it runs at 30fps at 'true' 4k (so non-dynamic).

Look into The Ascent. What a game; super fun (4people co-op) and probably the most beautiful game right now.

    Final Fantasy X - 8/10

This game has a pretty unique world and story, but it's definitely rough around the edges. The voice acting can be fine one second and then terrible another. Almost like they took parts of a sentence from different recording sessions. I guess this is to be expected as this was the first game from Square with voice acting. The camera is also god awful. The combat is pretty fun and I love the Sphere Grid system. The game also seems to have tons of endgame content, but I wasn't really interested in engaging with that. Not the best game I've ever played but a solid game nonetheless.

    Halo Infinite

    MP - 9/10

It’s awesome, but the progression and lack of gameplay options is disappointing.

    Campaign - 7/10

The open world stuff was fun and the mission were pretty fun, but the story was just okay and the repetitive environments got old.

I was hoping they’d have an active world like Forza or something.

    Psychonauts - 8/10

A remarkably creative game with some memorable levels and characters. The story has a lot of humor and heart as well. Levels like the Milkman Conspiracy are so incredible. Unfortunately, the game has pretty terrible platforming and combat which brings the game down a bit. While this might be expected due to it's age, there are a lot of 3D platformers during the time that had amazing platforming and combat like Mario Sunshine, Ratchet & Clank, and Sly Cooper. Despite that, it's still one of the most unique games I've ever played.

    Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales PS5 9/10

Greaaat game! Awesome gameplay, visually stunning with a small, but good story.

Bought Kingdom Come: Deliverance (PS4) off the January sales on the PlayStation store for €5, along with all DLCs for another €5.

Ran it on my PS5, stopped playing after 5 minutes. ~30fps and actual LAG in a single player game where it takes 2 seconds before I actually interact with picking up something...

    Fuck that, doing a refund.

Last game was C&C remaster, for nostalgia points it gets an 8. Last new game was Last Epoch, I'd give it 8.5/10 for what it is as it's an early access game and there isn't multiplayer yet.

FFXIV Endwalker I guess? I'd give it a solid 5/10. The presentation is all right, but as always I cannot be drawn in by emotional or otherwise significantly important story moments because their facial animation technology is terrible, as are their cinematic emotes. (They're woefully limited).
