10.0: Flight of the Dragon Isles

10.0 story:
The events of SL have had an effect on Azeroth and the absence of its heroes did not help. Enemies rise as the defenders are gone.
Twilight cult has revived Chromatus and brought him to the twilight highlands to breed with captive dragons.
Infinite dragons have started appearing and Chromie has located Nozdormu who is searching the timelines for his new death since our time shenanigans have interfered with the one he originally saw. His new death is at a time nexus and he stops his own sacrifice death to save Chromie and names her the new bronze leader.
Galakrond is back!!! His bones have absorbed energy from the rift to the shadowlands and absorbed enough energy from the surrounding scourge to revive himself.
The Scarlet Crusade has returned and led by the true prince of Lordaeron but he seems…strange for a pure human…..

Wrathion is trying to unite the dragons of Azeroth to protect the planet like the aspects were supposed to…some flights need convincing which will happen through the leveling experience.

Dragon Isles:
New continent with zones that unlock in patches
Two zones at launch containing 2 dungeons and 1 of 2 launch raids
Black dragon zone that is home to a civil war between a group that are uncorrupted and accept Wrathion and another group that see Wrathion as a usurper led by an unseen corrupted black dragon.
Other zone is controlled by drakonid style humanoids and drakes similar to stormheim drakes and we have to restore the original leader that is a weakened green dragon plagued by a fragment of nightmare.

Each patch adds a new zone dedicated to a flight and the end of a threat.


New Class: Talonguard
4 specs
Based on dragon flights
Mail armor
Intro starts at 57
You start as a member of Wrathion’s elite and go training gaining power from the other flights via essence artifacts and you run into the PC at certain points ending with a cinematic set at the beginning of SL prepatch.
Very flashy
Uses animations that become more visible the more you build Draconic energy similar to 7.0 void form

Level Cap: 70
Talent tree reworked for every 10 levels
Leveling takes place in old world zones that use the phasing tech used in BfA
SL added to Chromie Time
Chromie Time now 10-60
SL required for new players
New leveling path uses thread of fate system after you complete the first go that ends around the bronze dragon zone or galakrond not finalized.

New system: Dragonsworn
After you complete the leveling experience you will pledge yourself to helping empower the flight of your choice.
Similar to covenants but the focus is to restore all 5
Adds more world buffs and dungeon buffs like in SL instead of player power
Bronze flight let’s you get time-lost chests
Blue flight let’s you get arcane treasures
Unique cosmetics
Bronze: more Egyptian themed
Black: rocky and fire themed
Red: plate style with intricate weapons
Blue: mage style and elven design
Green: druidish green and nature

You use a currency from sources similar to anima to power up the flight unlocking the bonuses. The capstone is a passive bonus. Once you power up all 5 you get a new ability.

Patches add more cosmetics and zone buffs


Instances:
8 planned dungeons
6 leveling
2 max level based in the dragon isles
1 new BG with a king of the hill style
Scarlet crusade dungeon reveals that the heir to lordaeron is a familiar character.

2 planned raids
First is a temple that we use to create new “aspects” we have to fight a couple infinite dragons with the final boss being an echo of Deathwing.
Second Raid is SoO style Scarlet Crusade where we cement the new royalty of lordaeron and the alliance gets a new queen. Final boss is the false heir.

A dragon class plus a dragon covenant system….I can see blizzard adding more covenant crap and the class getting power from artifacts instead of the dragons themselves makes sense because until 8.3 they didn’t have anything to do with Wrathion

Can't remember, but it's usually how depleted dragonflights suddenly find reinforcements.

Possibly Wrathion just missed a bunch. Black dragon forces showed up in BFA island missions, and apparently there was a quest indicating Wrathion was looking for the Dragon Isles, so... someone at Blizz is thinking about the place, certainly.

Also 2 zones and 2 dungeons at launch? That's not an expansion, that's a patch. Not even Blizzard will dare to appear so greedy to charge full price for a patch's worth of content.

They might reproduce like lizards. Ergo, sex change. Not saying it’s what happened but it facilitates reproduction.

Big doubt on those two being the only ones. Some of the other leaks mentioned lairs with dragon eggs.
