Trump got impeached for trying to force Ukraine into finding dirt on Biden and you think Trump would act strong towards Russia for what they're doing to Ukraine right now? This probably still would have happened under Trump, but it helps that democrats control the white house --see Putin 2008, 2014, he was given leeway after the election, well Obama said he would. Remember when he laughed at Mitt Romney for suggesting Russia was the biggest problem in the world, and the media laughed along with him.

The problem is, Biden could have done sanctions in January, but the democrats voted them down. Now he's doing sanctions AFTER an invasion. And dodging questions on why he won't sanction Putin NOW. Why did he wait to do these"stronger sanctions"? Why is he not including energy, the basis of most of Russia's wealth? It's because Europe is dependent on Russia's energy. It's a good thing the United States is not building pipelines and handing out leases, we don't want to be energy independent either.
