This dragon riding looks to be the closest you'll get to it.

Yeah this is basically sine of what I hoped for. Flying that actually requires effort, and which can be designed around.

With current flying nothing short of invisible walls or areas where you are dismounted will stop you from getting anywhere.

I just cant believe that Dracthyr are a real thing.

Naga, Ogres, Ethereals, Arrakoa, etc literally all of these have been requested for like 15 years but they made some random shit up and tied the new class to it exclusively so they can turn around and say aha see theyre popular its totally not just because we forced people to play them if they wanna try the new class.

Yes. They deliberately said flying and dragon riding are different things. Hence my post.
