Fuck the Heat and fuck these refs, even if they were awful both ways. The refs were worse than the Celtics and the Celtics definitely didn't quite have it tonight.

    What an amazing game...

Fantastic effort and intensity on both sides. Close finish. All you could ask for out of a playoff game. Butler really showed up in a big way today.

Now we go to Game 7, which will be very interesting. Back to back road team wins to set it up. Heck, only one home win in the entire series. Celtics are going to hope for another road win to cap off their road to the Finals.

I have a hard time seeing either of these teams being able to beat GSW. They are both physically shot, and now neither will get even remotely enough time to recover for the Finals. Celtics had a shot at having 5 days of rest if they won tonight, which might have been enough to make a difference. With the way things went tonight and the awful state of both teams, I don't see either of them being able to do enough in the Finals.

I will go to my grave thinking that the East would have won the title if they hadn't had to play against eachother. Eastern Conference ate itself.

I still get a chuckle out of 538's model, which is giving the Celtics 83% odds and the Heat 60% odds to beat the Warriors in the Finals.

As a Warriors fan, I'm obviously not terribly disappointed in an ECF Game 7, sure. The last thing the Warriors wanted to do was face a healthy, rested Celtics squad. I'd still rather they beat the Heat on Sunday, though.

Well, they're one of the original 8 NBA teams and have the most championships (tied with the Lakers).

Game started off a mess for Heat, but Jimmy Buckets is playing like a God and the game is a lot closer than it feels it should be.

This game is definitely staying just close enough to be exciting.

Story this series has been the Celtics are overall better but the heat fucking hustle. There’s no way this game should’ve been within 5 in the last minute, let alone 2 in the last 0.20.

Also can Smart normally hit 3s? cause holy shit his wide open misses could’ve easily sunk them.

How important was that three from Strus that they overturned?

That and Brown got away with a couple of travels and at least 2 of them led to points.

Regardless I don't think the wrong team won and if not for Bam and Jimmy's heroics they wouldn't have been in that game.

I was a mess yesterday and I didn't even watch the game live, just followed the last 5 min or so on Twitter. Heart attack city.

Be that as it may, Celtics in the Finals, baby. At long last. Now they just need to not settle and just be happy to have made it, but fight with the same tenacity to get this title.

    Celtics in 7.

I don't pay much attention to US professional sports. However, I am rooting for the Warriors. It would be nice to live in a city with a winning sports team. Thirty years in San Diego was awful. Although the Padre and Aztec did have their oh-so-close to greatness moments.

San Francisco was so very close to the trifecta this last year. Giants and 49ers made it to the NLCS and the NFC Championship Game, respectively.

    lol

Knicks are hiring Jalen Brunson's dad as an assistant coach, just as he;s heading to free agency.

Cause that is not obvious at all what the plan is, nope, very slick.

    SUCH a Knicks move. xD

Looks like everyone's back for Game 1. GP2, Otto Porter, and Iguodala are all okay to play for GSW and Rob Williams for the Celtics.

Only Wiseman, who's been out all season, is out for the game.

...wtf is ESPN doing? I hate this broadcasting format. React content is fine but they have a whole streaming platform to use for that. Apps, etc. I just want to watch the game.

That was an ugly way to blow a ten point lead. Dubs doing this the hard way.
