Karen wants to ban furries if she is elected Governor in the state of Georgia.

I mean, we have a fight over healthcare, prices are soaring, people are struggling to hold on to their homes, there is a growing homeless crisis.

But she wants to ban furries if she gets elected as Governor in the state of Georgia.

She is calling it part of a Satanic agenda?

I mean, it sounds just like the 80's when people were blaming Heavy metal music for stuff like Satanism.

I read where Judas Priest went to trial over one of their songs.

Which sounds to me like a moral panic.

A moral panic is a mass movement based on a false or exaggerated perception that some cultural behavior or group of people is dangerously deviant and poses a threat to society's values and interests.

    Welcome to American conservativsm.

    This sentiment extends to:

    -Mexican people
-Middle Eastern people (really, anyone with skin too dark a brown for their liking)
    -Muslims
    -Socialists
    -"Leftists"
    -ANTIFA
    -BLM
    -The coastal elites
    -California
    -Scientists
    -Democrats in general
    -Rap music
    -Video games

    and now, apparently, furries.

Historically it has also applied to:

-The Russians (weird how they did a 180 on this one)
    -Catholics
    -the Irish
    -Italians
    -Chinese
    -Japanese

I thought she lost the primary
"Law and Order", lots of places have had that, Russia, North Korea, Saddam's Iraq.
Laws can be made to enforce order of cruelty and brutality.
Equality and Justice, that is how you have peace and a society that benefits all.

Putting aside for a moment how ridiculous the concept of banning furries itself is... how would she even enforce such a thing?

    What's a non-ridiculous reason for banning furries?

When they picture their lily-white perfect neighborhood of a man in his pressed collar shirt, the housewife in her dress and their 2 1/2 children with their white picket fence, nowhere in there is there a dude dressed as a wolf.

Well there is a part of society that thinks furries are mostly a sex thing, and want it disallowed and want their family away from anyone who is a furry.

    https://www.christianforums.com/thre...#post-73664148

    https://www.theadminzone.com/threads...d-such.147859/

I wonder if it's also the same people who think a woman's place is the kitchen and take offense at Gay couples, don't kid yourself, there are people who still think gay people are gross.

Like Florida passed a don't say gay bill.

    https://abcnews.go.com/US/floridas-c...ry?id=83525901

I wonder if they are also the same people who are uneasy if there are groups of Hispanic or Black people hanging around somewhere.

Except you said it wasn't a sex thing in your last furry-related thread only to then tell us how it actually was a sex thing. So you certainly haven't helped convince people otherwise.

Well for some it is just a innocent hobby, but to others it is a sex thing.

    https://www.cnn.com/2018/11/14/us/fu...ure/index.html

    https://www.womenshealthmag.com/sex-...at-is-a-furry/

And a person who studied furries and isn't a furry said that discrimination against furries does happen.

    https://www.theguardian.com/fashion/...nimal-costumes

“I do think ‘fursectution’ is real,” says Gerbasi (who does not identify as a furry), using a portmanteau term referring to perceived persecution of the fandom from outside elements. “And I think it’s because people are afraid of things they don’t understand.”

I wonder too if the discrimination against furries can count as kink shaming.

Kink shaming is a term that originated with social justice warriors that means exactly what it means.

Kink-shaming is basically exactly that — shaming someone for their sexual desires when they don’t line up with what you think is normal.

“Kink-shaming is when you embarrass someone for their sexual preferences and believe something is wrong with them because of their sexual interests,”

And you might say discrimination is only valid only for gender, race, religion or such.

But i think it could also apply to subcultures.

Like the UK one time passed a law making it a hate crime to attack goths and punks.

The woman's completely fucking deranged. Like, "needs a straightjacket before she hurts herself" deranged.

She lost the governor's race. By 70 points. She got less than 4% of the vote. And she won't concede; https://www.businessinsider.com/trum...concede-2022-5

    And yeah, that's three days ago. Here's her Twitter 10 hours ago; https://twitter.com/KandissTaylor/st...31043She's this nutcase, if anyone isn't placing her;

"Jesus. Guns. Babies." That's her fucking slogan. She's an absolute fucking religious-zealot nutcase, the exact kind of person who'd gleefully hold a torch to the fire of anyone her pastor named as a witch.

Even if it is a sex thing, so frickin' what? What business is it of yours, or anyone's, unless they're one of the sexual partners involved in the tryst in question?

Folks wouldn't get so bent out of shape about other people's sex lives if they weren't such window-peeping perverts themselves they couldn't help but try and hate-watch them fucking.

I think it's weird, but I think foot fetishes are weird, too. It's not my business unless it's my partner, me thinking it's "weird" just means I'm not personally into that stuff, not that nobody should be into that stuff.
