    Dungeons and Raids

    • Developers’ note: In this second batch of updates to Shadowlands dungeons, we’ve addressed more circumstances where enemy abilities could be cast on nearby targets in melee when their current target became out of range, which could sometimes lead to unfair deaths, or encourage groups to avoid bringing melee DPS entirely.
      • The following abilities will no longer hit nearby targets in melee when the enemy’s target is out of range:
        • Encrypted Affix
          • Urh Dismantler’s Deconstruct
        • De Other Side
          • Headless Client’s Discharge
        • Plaguefall
          • Domina Venomblade’s Cytotoxic Slash
          • Plagueroc’s Blightbeak
          • Mire Soldier’s Mighty Swing
          • Rotting Slimeclaw’s Corroded Claws
        • Sanguine Depths
          • Rockbound Sprite’s Animate Pebble
          • Chamber Sentinel’s Severing Slice
        • Tazavesh: So’leah’s Gambit
          • Devoted Accomplice’s Energy Slash
        • The Necrotic Wake
          • Zolramus Bonecarver’s Boneflay
          • Stitched Vanguard’s Bone Claw
          • Loyal Creation’s Bone Claw
        • Theater of Pain
          • Dessia the Decapitator’s Slam
          • Shackled Soul’s Soul Touch
          • Heavin the Breaker’s Colossus Smash
          • Rek the Hardened’s Unbalancing Blow
          • Putrid Butcher’s Chop and Devour Flesh

    Quests

    • Fixed an issue where level 10 Horde characters leaving Exile’s Reach could sometimes arrive on the Alliance ship instead of Orgrimmar during the quest “An End to Beginnings.”

    now they are doing changes to make life of melee less sufferable? wat it took survival hunters to be in groups to get data needed ?

    which dev plays survival im curious

    they must be in full panic mode if they make so many hotfixes to 1.5 year old m+ - 3 changes in 3 days with likely more to come.

    Panic mode? What panic? No one would have cared in the slightest if they did not apply those fixes for the what? 10,11 remaining weeks.
    I agree though that it's probably some developers pet peeve.

    It could be as simple as there is a general 'fix it' team and now that the current expansion is on farm, there's time to sift through the large list of easy/quick fixes on the list and sort out at their leisure.

    We got way more than 10 to 11 weeks left in shadowlands. Drangonflight wont be out till 2023

    Well done. ToP arena fight you'd get one shotted as melee if tank goes out of range. Awful.

    Right? won't be hitting until like June of next year lol.
    Hence why we have no pre-orders yet

    Strap in, we're going to be in Shadowlands a lot longer.

    These dungeons rotate out of the m+ pool when season 4 starts. Has nothing to do with Dragonflight.

    Season 4 starts in "late summer", that's when the SL dungeons rotate out of m+. And that means there are at best 11 weeks until the end of august.

    But it is nothing new same old stuff same dungeons got to wait for 2023 for something new is what im saying. Season 4 is same as season 3 just with past dungeons added that I've done years ago.

    If they add a mechanic that kills melee to stop kiting they wont stop kiting they will just stop melee from getting groups.

    You can see this in raiding... I wish they could learn how they community reacts.

    Tbh I didn't even know Uhr had this. When I needed kiting, I would kite. Besides, you don't kite to kite as a tank, you kite because you have to. And if a melee dies in the process, better than the tank dying.

    Uhr is different it channels a range atk it isnt a fervent strike. It will hit what it has threat on. A feverent strike hits anything in range of it if its aggro target is out of range.
