    Youtuber strategy exposed?

    Who do I describe:

1)Every footage/info released, you keep your subs hyped and motivated. Especially before expansions/patches:
All the thumbnails and clickbaits are positive - focus is, that Blizzard finally learned it.

2)Once every 2-3 month - you bash this company - especially after expansion release:
All the thumbnails and clickbaits are negative. Undertone is that Blizzard never gets it and we got betrayed once again.

This cycle repeats itself. You suddenly have borderline community, stuck in emotions(which is the biggest trigger). You can actually keep running this for a decade.

First hint: Bel...r - it can also be someone else.

Do you recognize this pattern or is it just me?

Trying to make money as a Youtuber means following the algorithm. Feeding your fanboys with positivity videos, and then occasionally dropping a negative video trying to pull in more viewers.

Ofcourse Bellular won't ditch Blizzard. The biggest percentage of his audience are WoW fans. He's tried branching out attracting other demographics but WoW fans are still the predominant slice of his pie so that's who he has to cater to, which means he won't stop covering Blizzard and their games no matter how many times he keeps saying it's the last straw.

For me - he is the equivalent of a fakenews reporter(just like some few others). It's concerns me as they affect the community for personal gains.

Can anyone following him/them give us some insight? Why did you make these people to something?

That's not really a problem specific to Belluar. That's more of a problem with how we have an entire generation of men that has grown up taking instructions from people on Youtube. People don't think for themselves anymore.

Yeah no one can ever have an actual negative opinion about this amazing game, nah, never. It must be a strategy!

thats not the formula. the formula is to provide some kind of value add. that could be a lot of things. i could probably start a youtube channel where i hire escorts and just play wow with them and have a hit channel.
TO FIX WOW:1. smaller server sizes & server-only LFG awarding satchels, so elite players help others. 2. "helper builds" with loom powers - talent trees so elite players cast buffs on low level players XP gain, HP/mana, regen, damage, etc. 3. "helper ilvl" scoring how much you help others. 4. observer games like in SC to watch/chat (like twitch but with MORE DETAILS & inside the wow UI) 5. guild leagues to compete with rival guilds for progression (with observer mode).6. jackpot world mobs.

What's very annoying IMO is how Bellular always tries to talk like he's this HUGE Blizzard fan and loves WoW and would play it during every second of his free time if he could, but the truth is that the last xpac where he actually played the game was MoP. He constantly speaks as if he's some sort of ambassador to the WoW community which is also annoying.

lol? Exposed? guess you're new to content creators or the internet in general if you're still figuring out how it works.

I had no clue. More surprised about people are cool with these "content creators".

You'd find this in any fandom. Drama and controversy tends to generate more easy clicks than genuine productive thoughts. Either you have people who like to see their own thoughts be vindicated, or people on the other side who are drawn to the controversial 'hot take'. Either way it's win win for clicks.

You might be surprised, but maybe look at the game as well.

Because I kinda figured out this by my own:
I don't know where to reflect my hate - these greedy youtubers, who are ruining a 20 year old community with thier hatespeech(irony indeed - but I love this game) - or the 700K subs - these people have gathered.

Why don't people boycott these individuals?

That's some reach you got there.

Either way, as much as I don't like Bellular anyway, the issue you're describing OP is with Youtube itself basically forcing that cycle rather than encouraging people to try to be different.

Maybe - but I truely believe, that this community is also affected by this trend. It will just eat itself from inside, like some self fulling prophecy(just being a bit dramatic - fanboy here).

I would say this is the natural ebb & turn of the community, but its certainly clear that negativity is promoted by Youtube's algorithim. That, and the irony of Diablo Immoral being rightfully panned: But its exactly as Pay 2 Win as Lost Ark is. The difference is Amazon paid Azmongold, among other streamers, to cover Lost Ark for a few months.

They paid them? My day keeps getting more depressive.

Where is the consumer in all this. Are we just all sheeps?

Yes, it's definitely Youtube's fault. It has nothing to do with all these public access channel wannabes getting a hold of some sweet, sweet cash, and doing and saying whatever it takes to keep it flowing.
How joyous to be in such a place! Where phishing is not only allowed, it is encouraged!

Please start a channel, where you call out on all these people, based on thier own material - like some journalist.

Let's just have one guy, who can balance this out - just a little bit. It would be so refreshing with such debate.

Ill sub to you - and even better if you stream.
