I remember there was an... I guess "popular" flat earth youtuber who went through a whole revelation process of slowly realizing that those leading the flat-earther movements are all just con artists duping people with nonsensical pseudo-science and made-up experiments in an effort to enrich themselves. He relates that, previously, he had thought that the fact that youtube and other pages labeled flat-earth theories as "misinformation" must be evidence of some sort of cover-up. In essence, that the "lack of evidence is the evidence." Which is, of course, absurd, but luckily this one guy (eventually) saw through it.

These illuminati/flat earther/anti-vaxxer people are all cut from the same cloth. They usually don't have much going for them, aren't particularly educated, and have some chip on their shoulder with the world so they want to think that they know better than everyone and that they know some sort of truth... without, of course, bothering to actually learn or do anything. Unfortunately for them, because they aren't very educated and aren't very adept at being tuned in to bullshit, they make all-to-easy marks for conmen to dupe into thinking they're in on some sort of grand secret the rest of the world is just too stupid to understand, and that they, through a network of nobody youtube videos and backdoor websites advertising male enhancement pills in the banner ads, have unlocked the real "truth" about the world.

Interesting tidbits about Hutchinson's representation. Apparently, after being put in touch with Liz Cheney because she had more she wanted to tell the committee, Hutchinson ditched her MAGA lawyer and picked up Jody Hunt - former AG Jeff Sessions' chief of staff at one point.

So hardly someone that's gonna be some radical leftist.
