Imagine caring this much about the appearance of a race/class you're never going to play, or have any intention of ever playing...

They don’t care, they just want to complain. There really is nothing more to it.

Honestly, I like that as well. Also it simply makes sense for a playable dragon race that has to adhere to the conventions of WoW races, yet has to have unique draconic attributes to justify its abilities.

it freaks me out that bullseyed and au-burn incessantly crusade for something that they won't even play with. Even worse is that they provide no proof whatsoever of anything. It's just "Dracthyr should be Drakonid because I like big bodies" and nothing else. Non-stop crying about muscles that are already there, maxilars that the previews have already shown, etc. If they actually looked at the material they would see that the Dracthyr look just like a humanoid Warcraft dragon would.

Only person here with an actual complaint is Aucald, because on still images without proper lighting and spell effects the heads do look a tad small.

At this point, I have to agree.

I also like the dragonborn from DND, they are a good example of varied shapes and sizes some even don't have wings/ tails.

You have been proved wrong yesterday in another thread but keep pretending it's bullshit.

You joking? I wanted to play dragon class and race that's why I made account in the first place before DF announcement.

    I'm not talking about what you wanted, I'm talking about what we're getting, which is essentially a less cartoony version of this;

You don't want that, and you clearly despise the very idea of it, so I don't get why you're still here.

Soythyr aren't as buff, they don't have as wide chests or shoulders and no I don't want a fucking goofy Spyro face. I'm here to push the change so that we get og WoW dragons inspired race instead of settling for this shit that we were presented with. Body number four I can live with it but they need male mugs like male dragons have. I want no soft furry bullshit.

Yeah, calling them Soythir and "soft furry bullshit" is a sure-fire way to get Blizzard to listen to you....

It worked the first time didn't it. We got option number 4.

Now it's time to get some authentic wow dragon heads with big jaws, jutted chins and tendrils and all the shit wow dragons have.

That's your problem; You actually believe that you caused option 4 to happen, seemingly ignoring that they stated we were getting that option back when they announced the race.

I personally am glad they listened and added option 4. It personally fixed my main gripe with the race.

Though I think the only thing we’re not getting out of that is the visible teeth, it looked like we were getting stuff on the chins.
(And the glowing black dragon stuff but that’s not gonna happen unfortunately.)

But I do wish there were options for the visible teeth, almost every dragon we’ve seen in-game has them.

They stated there’d be two extra options “slightly skinner and slightly bulkier”, nothing about a significantly bulkier option.

It’s likely 2 is what they showed in the previews. 1 was the slightly skinnier option, and 3 was the slightly bulkier.

It’s likely they delayed the blog post so they could work on option 4 and redo the preview to include it.

The heads need to be bigger or the necks a bit shorter...maybe both. It looks awkwardly small. Especially since some of the horns are so massive, it makes the heads stand out more compared to the shoulder/chest ratio

It's not likely at all. You simply misread the developer blog where they specifically said there would be slightly bulkier options. And yes, I do consider option 4 to be slightly bulkier, not the hulking mass you guys wanted them to be.

In any case, if you want to actually believe your crusade is moving Blizzard to give you the dragon race/class that what you want, knock yourselves out.

It depends on how they move in-game. We gotta first see gameplay of a Dracthyr being looked from behind, with spell effects and other movements.

If that thing is supposed to do lots of neck and head movement to breath magic and what else then the long neck will be better. And a long neck with a big head looks like a mushroom so they probably made the heads "smaller" because of that.

I stand by what Nightshade said. Body 4 is significantly bulkier than 1.

Body 4 is tolerable for sure.

I feel you mate and I feel you as fuck. Like you said almost all of them dragons have visible teeth. This shit is pretty iconic for them. It makes them look a lot more brutal.

For me tho the most important is jaw and chin. I care bout tendrils and teeth too but first and foremost I want masculine, edgy head option for my Soythyr.

Oh yeah man that too. Someone on reddit posted this edit

Neck length option would be cool.
