In theory, bankruptcy officials take complete control of your assets and decide who to give how much, impartially. In theory, if they catch someone trying blatant, obvious dodges like "I owe myself $50 million" those will be pushed to the back of the folder. And worse, Alex Jones has a very poor history of turning over records -- hence his default loss in these 3 lawsuits. If he tries that with bankruptcy filings, he'll go to jail for fraud.
Not a lawyer, but I'm pretty sure even in the USA if you can make a case that a company largely exists just as a proxy for a person, usual limited liability rules don't apply. Even if you filed for them, by using it as a proxy, you've violated the requirements and abrogated that limitation.

Otherwise, I could just set up Endus LLC with a fairly cheap filing cost, get credit cards in the company's name, max them, and then toss them in the bin and never make a payment. If they come after me, oh noes, the company goes bankrupt and I, the company owner, walk away with whatever those credit cards bought me. Too bad so sad. That's really not how it works.

We'll find out. At some point, however, the man who said those things was Alex Jones, technically human being. The companies are his assets.

This could be an interesting case study.

One of the posts below that caught my eye.

REALLY Hope that one ends up true and turns up something.
Since we can't call out Trolls and Bad Faith posters and the Ignore function doesn't actually ignore it. Add
    "mmo-champion.com##li.postbitignored"
to your ublock or adblock filter to actually ignore ignored posters. Now just need a way to ignore responses to them as well.

I was going to say you couldn't but apparently you can. If he does, he has a high chance of since he filed after losing lawsuits, that he loses property and other things.

I got a legal dictionary that says that if he tries, he has a high chance of losing everything anyway. So basically what @Breccia said.

LLCs only apply when the company does something wrong. If a person who runs the company is charged with something and sued, then they are the ones liable for all damages. Problem with Jones is he is trying to put his money into various shell companies to hide it away which won't work as they can claw that money back fast unless it is out of the country to a place that doesn't have any US presence. Then it would be a fight between said country where the money is and the US government.

As Alex Jones continues to sink faster than a snitch with concrete shoes, several more crazies are not exactly "stepping up" to fill in the crazy, misogynistic right wing conspiracy market vacuum, but they are starting to be noticed more. With Jones not taking the lime light for the craziest person, we have people like Tim Pool and Andrew Tate stepping up to the plate to take their shot at the crazies market complete with MLM schemes.
2014 Gamergate: "If you want games without hyper sexualized female characters and representation, then learn to code!"

When Rush Limpbaugh died, AJ Lies stepped up. AJ Lies is circling the drain, no one has stepped up hardcore like "Bone powder brain alpha boner power" guy did.
Once the full damages, and whether or not AJ Lies media cesspool survives, are out and the repercussions have fallen out...we might see Tim Poo or Andrew Taint step up if they think they could survive the consequences of their actions in the future.
Then it'll be wilder than a 7 weasel orgy in a gopher hole.

With time, I would say MTG could be the next one. She already said stuff about Jewish people, conspiracies, white supremacy and other things. All she needs is a talk radio show and a supplement company.

You know, the look on his face when the lawyer states how he got those messages should be the new meme that takes place of the shocked pikachu meme. The Dumbfounded Jones meme.

Joking aside...nah! Yes, memes abound there. Anyhow, the video did explain that Jones' lawyers did try to reverse the accidental discovery...and immediately got rekt in a few minutes. Mostly because Jones had been so demonstrably bad at handing over required documents. Man, consequences for actions are such a shame.

Lawyer: "Mr. Jones, You know you can assert your 5th amendment rights."
AJ: "Screw that, I am going to dig this hole as far down as I can go. Something, something, something, gay frogs. Something, something, something, crisis actors."

Also a colossal failure on Jones' lawyer to follow basic procedure. He had 10 days to identify what was protected and needed to be discarded. He did not. He also failed to provide an updated link, as he promised to, which is just further malfeasance. This could get him disbarred, for assing things up for his client THIS badly.

It's not just that the Jones defense team was screwing with discovery the whole time, because then action like this could be construed as vengeful, rather than just. No, his team had just already erased any leeway the courts were willing to offer them, and then some. So he gets stuck directly to the letter of the law, which fucks him and Jones completely.

Almost. Teams. Plural. He had seven. Jones was asked for documents years before he hired his current lawyers.

Of course, that does nothing to absolve the guy who present "Reply All" by accident last month. Just that Jones is the one who wore out the judge's patience to the very last strand, then gave his current lawyers a pair of scissors.

    Second video is up.

    - - - Updated - - -

So one of Alex Jones' victims went on CNN and said Jones slipped her a note, during the trial, with an apology and a pledge to donate to her charity. Wanna see the video? She says Jones is an empty, lonely man who filled the hole in his life where love for one's fellow humans is supposed to be with lies.

Let's assume the grieving victim is telling the truth -- unlike what Alex Jones did. First of all, I didn't think you were allowed to do that, I thought your lawyers had to pass it to theirs. Second of all, how little do I trust Alex Jones to give to a charity when he declared bankruptcy at least four times during the trial to avoid paying out money? Third of all, what a coward to apologize and make this pledge in secret. And fourth of all, handing this over the literal day before the damages were announced is so "too little too late" it might as well be Trump diverting a hurricane with a Sharpee.

Texas laws limit the damages Jones will have to pay. If Jones willfully donates more than that to the victim's charity, and quickly, it's because Jones is trying to taint the other two jury pools and lower their not-as-capped damages. If he doesn't donate quickly, I'm guessing his bankruptcy will prevent him from donating at all, and he'll somehow feel okay with that breaking his cowardly, pathetic promise.

Between this case and the Depp case, one thing I've learned is punitive damages is useless, put everything into compensatory damages if you are on a jury.
