Jesus Christ thank god no one in mmochamp is designing the game, the current devs are incompetent but y'all really manage to surpass them.
I don't think it's one or the other. New places are super cool, usually more cool than old places. Connecting back with old places in a new way is also cool, when there is some relevance to where we're at and it still is done in a new way. It's like watching a rerun of your favorite show. Have you ever watched DragonBall Z: Abridged? It's an amazing new take on an old experience, and full of creativity in its own right.

The issue isn't that adding old-world content is bad... it's when it is taken as the lazy route instead of the more creative, passionate, new route. But I think if we are following the passion freely there will be times when the most awesome idea is the one that connects back to somewhere we've been and brings it to a new level. The idea that the world is interconnected and evolving as a whole is cool.
