Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.
Man, this might be the first beta test ever that I didn't get in!
It's likely they've already fixed them in an upcoming patch, the delay between a bug being reported, them starting to work on it, and when the fix is actually implemented usually takes a while. In the past betas there were plenty bugs all over the questing zones almost until the end of beta, but very few of them make it into live
Raszageth really has no charisma. I still find the idea of the Primalists hilariously bad. I guess every kid in Azeroth dreams of joining some cult one day.

Tong the Fixer (the innkeeper from the Hidden Stair in MoP) seems to have followed Wrathion to the Dragon Isles. More Pandaren-induced character development in his future I guess.

I am guild and raid lead of an mythic raiding guild. All my member got an invite and i have none xD. I have to say this is the first time that happened, but it is more than stupid.
I also entered in all the "raffles". Nothing
I was invited for WoD and Shadowlands as "veteran" for all the other beta invites i had to enter giveaways/raffles. I don't know how blizz chooses who gets beta invite this time around, but 30% of the people in my guild do not even want beta.. and have access now
I got burning crusade and wotlk beta, both not interesting for me. Maybe that is the reason why i don't get dragonflight..it is frustrating.

Giving beta to those that don't even want it is a bit daft.
All I ever wanted was the truth. Remember those words as you read the ones that follow. I never set out to topple my father's kingdom of lies from a sense of misplaced pride. I never wanted to bleed the species to its marrow, reaving half the galaxy clean of human life in this bitter crusade. I never desired any of this, though I know the reasons for which it must be done. But all I ever wanted was the truth.
I've had nothing but invite spam the last few days.
At first it was just 3-4 emails a day, but then Blizz started calling twice a day. WTF! They are literally just as annoying as those auto insurance telemarketers.
Then yesterday while watching youtube there was a personalized commercial reminding me to log in to beta and start playing, I clicked out of that and thought I was safe.
However, the next morning around 9am a couple of blizz employees rang my doorbell. At first I thought they were Jehovah witnesses, but then they handed me and my wife some World of Warcraft flyers and reminded us that there is still time to resubscribe and try out beta, I kicked the suits to the curb.
Later that afternoon while driving to Costco for weekly groceries, the wife looked up and saw a airplane dragging a sky message that read, 'Pahbi, don't forget about the beta!'. When we got back to the car after Costco, someone had left a DF Beta flyer under my windshield wiper! WTF!!!
I'm not even interested in beta but Blizz keeps hounding me to death.
In my opinion many people only want to test their own class in beta. Many of my guild mates only played beta for less than 5 hours.
And it is not difficult to sign up for beta. So everyone in the guild did it, even the people who won't play it. (and yes.. that is stupid)
Sometimes it would be nice to know how the process of invites is. Are they totally random or is there a system.
In the past there was this "veteran" system and for raid tests many of us got an invite. But dragonflight is a different story.. it seems
How is it a different story for DF? The "veteran" system might still apply as raid testing starts in the second half next week, so presumably you would want to send out the raid testing invites next week as well. So at the moment we don't know if they want to target a specific demographic once again for raid or not.
From what I've managed to gather, other than the initial media wave of alpha invites, all waves of invites so far have been randomly selected, and also that the waves have been larger in this alpha/beta cycle than before. So if you haven't gotten in yet, its just RNG.
Wouldn't really make sense to send out targeted invites to beta before the testing you want to target has started.
To add to the first paragraph topic. I agree that a lot of people have signed up just to check their class, but that was still valid since they were responding to class feedback and wanted people to check out classes.
Personally my experience so far has been going leveling and doing side quests as well and reporting any small or large bugs I find (like for a random example just before the beta servers went down tonight, and now back up and bugging, I found a mailbox that wasn't interactable but should be and reported...), I would say over the past few days, per 3-5 hours of testing I reported about 15 bugs, mostly smaller stuff.

On another topic, something I find weird is that running normal dungeons while leveling is dropping ilvl 356 gear, which is Normal dungeon iLvL for level 70 chars. I am unsure if this is intended as currently and in past expansion leveling normals dropped level appropriate or level scaled gear. If this is intended I means queueing for normals is really good while leveling.

Uh, I'm gonna generously say that it's highly unlikely that this is intended for launch, and that for whatever reason, the ilvl scaling for dungeons is probably just disabled on the beta. I really don't believe that Blizzard would make it so that a drop from a level 61 dungeon will last you all the way to 70.
