Packers fans really out here 3-2, losing to a 4-1 team, in London, saying to fire the DC.

I get that the Badgers did fire Chryst and the Brewers have a serious case to fire Counsel, but we don't need to become a state where every loss is followed with "fire everyone" declarations.
Packers are up there with the most dramatic fans after a loss.

Right next to the Seahawks fans.

Olave play was scary, hope he's ok.

Looks like the Jags are back to being the Jags.

360 yards on 15 completions for Josh Allen looks like a Madden box score.

There's definitely been a strong uptick in players getting flagged and taken out for concussion reasons, but this one would have been flagged at any time in any game. I hope he's okay too. Kind of had a softspot for him in the draft.

And that is what makes Taysom so dangerous. Beauty of a pass for a TD. Big game from him today, 2 rushing TD and a passing TD.

It looked like his leg was twisted strangely but yeah head injury on top of it, really hope he'll be okay.

Geno Smith is throwing some really pretty deep balls. Saints playing some really poor defense in the secondary on top of it.

    - - - Updated - - -

Saints are forgetting how to play defense this season.

    - - - Updated - - -

Taysom Hill! What a game! 3 rushing TD, 112 rushing yards, a passing td, kickoff returns, he can do it all.

    - - - Updated - - -

Was an entertaining game and Saints get the win 39-32. If the Saints can survive with all of these injuries they should be able to rebound later in the year.

When Taysom gets the snap its like 75%+ chance that hes gonna run it. Just insane he keeps carving it up. Really bad defense on the his long TD run, but Diggs gotta wrap up.

This team is still massively outperforming my expectations. Should be in the mix in December if they can figure out how to tackle considering where the rest of the NFC is at.

Most of the time it is a run yeah, but then he throws that TD pass when everyone was expecting run. Also these runs are a bit harder to stop just because the QB is the runner and not handing the ball off, so an extra blocker is in the mix too.

This was the game that showed the Eagles they aren't invincible. Any win is a win, but this came too close too many times. You can't count on a mid-range FG to pull wide.

    Rams still kind of suck.

Jerome Boger also sucks. I'm sure the NFL will just not let his crew call playoff games against after they do a terrible job in the wildcard round.

I watched the first half of the packers game then went to sleep. Crazy that they were shut out in second half because they had a ton of unique play calls in the first and just ran up and down the field at Will. Giants are surprisingly competent with slayton and Barkley. I didn’t see much from jones to lean one way or another. He didn’t throw any reckless balls.

Way I see it, Daboll is absolutely as advertised. But I still don't trust that Jones is the answer. I think the Giants will be foolish enough to talk themselves into it after the season, but I think he ends up being like... 16-13th at best.

Also the arrow is pointing way up on that defense to adjust and shut them out down the stretch. Don't know who Daboll brought as his DC, but I expect they'll be getting HC buzz in the coming years.

We lost a game to the 4-1 Giants and I'm actually seeing people say maybe LaFleur is a bad coach.

They are by far the most dramatic.

The fact the Giants are 4-1 is mindblowing.
Ex-Mod. Technically retired, they just won't let me quit.

Matt Rhule got canned. That didn't take very long.

Owed more than 40M and will have a cushy college job lined up in no time. Must be fun to be a semi competent football coach.

I just realized, but, can this be called "The Year of the Back Up QB"?

    Cooper Rush

    Bailey Zappe

    Garoppolo bailing out the Niners

Andy Dalton coming in and saving the Saints

I'd argue Geno Smith playing well after being a back up for years makes him part of it, if not the headliner, if you really think about it.

Just a TON of back ups coming in and helping their teams out in a big way.

I don't know if they can top Kurt Warner winning MVP and the Superbowl

In fact, we had backup QBs winning the Super Bowl three years in a row then.

If anything I'd say it's less "Year of the Backup QB" and more "The NFL finally solved it's decade without enough good QBs."

Also Rhule is gone, not surprising. Doing it after 5 weeks, surprising. Though given what people have been saying around the Panthers, it sounds like this wont fix anything. The problem apparently is coming from Tepper.
