You are a brave soul. With that budget i guess you go for the mid-high end stuff.

If you go for the the new A5 AMD platform it's a minefeild with all the early-adoption risk and the high prices. All the PCIe5/ddr5 stuff costs double what they should. The new M.2 SSD's aren't even out jet. But at least you are future proof

If you go Intel it's most likely that this is the last generation with the current sockets and motherboards, killing your upgrade path in the future. At least they already can support PCIe5 and ddr5

Meanwhile NVidia is a dick and still artificially holding back their 40xx cards and their price to push out their countless pallets of 30xx cards they mistakenly ordered.

    Tough choice.

Just going big to last me the years... current one was high-end from 2013, struggling with WH40k Darktides doing 40+ fps on lowest settings. Fed up of waiting for prices to drop... well overdue for a new one.

Might grab a 27/32" monitor too while I'm at it. That ASUS ROG Strix 27" looks good.

Thanks a lot for posting these!

On average, what is the cheapest laptop or desktop you can buy these days that can also reliably play World of Warcraft?
"You see, there is balance in all things. Wisdom etched in our very fur: Black and white. Darkness and light. When the last emperor hid our land from the rest of the world, he also preserved...our ancient enemy, the mantid. So it is with your Alliance and your Horde. They are not strong despite one another; they are strong BECAUSE of one another. You mistake your greatest strength for weakness. Do you see this?"

Go big. Everyone told me "this or that" but getting a 34" ultrawide is one of my best gaming decisions ever

Seeing this ASUS ROG 32" with 24% off, might grab that.
