After our server came up at around 21:00 , For the Horde killed Halion 25 heroic after about 1 hour 20 minutes of hard progress. It would have almost been a race ... *sigh*

So, I just love how Blizzard brought the EU armory up again after a maintenance without adding Ruby Sanctum to the achievement system there, so there is no way of tracking the kills in EU. <3

It was a rather fun fight, wiped on 25 heroic mode the entire evening atleast abit challenging

Except...it's always been that way. US has always had the patches first. Acting like this is a new phenomenon is pretty pedantic.

Unless you're talking about half the realms being offline anyways, that doesn't seem to matter. Only 6 guilds have gotten him anyways. I doubt they would've made a significant difference in the race.

US always had the content early, but the content was always challenging enough to make skill/organisation/whatever you call it, win out.

Now the content is at the point where the top 100 guilds pretty much down normal modes in one shot, and heroics in a couple of hours.

It's more "first top guild to get to him and have the least technical problems win" than it was before.
