The wikia ad placement was screwing up almost all the pages. You could switch back to the old style but you had to have an account and know where the setting was. Making it bad for just people coming to the site for info. And the layout was going to become permanent with no way to change it back to the old layout on November 3rd.

Another example of the bar on the right completely screwing up the minimap points.

You don't need the goblin and pirate rep at the same time. As evident in my picture below of me getting the feat. It's just since Nelfs can be mages again Shen'dralar can move out of DM and their rep is meaningless. Also bloodsail is probably being seriously changed somehow.

Is there will be any live stream from raid testing? :<
Wait, wat? Also, http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/...orting-bad-ads
need patchnotes now
We can see patchnotes?
what bugs are fixed?
meh ill still be using wowikki, i dont know whats wrong with you guys thinking it'll be better then wowikki who cares if the ads are annoying?
wowpedia and wowwiki have the EXACT same content today, and from the look of it wowpedia has a better chance of being the more updated site (and better layout) in three months time. It seems as most of those who wrote articles on wowwiki now writes on wowpedia. If wowwiki somehow attracts new contributors they can still be relevant, but with no administrators I doubt it. We will see. Worst case scenario, none of the sites stay up to date.
From what I can tell "wowwiki", as in founders and administrators and the defacto "owners" of the content, have used Wikia as a sort of server host. Wikia owns the domain name and the servers, but they do NOT own the content. They did not run the site, AFAIK. It's hard to talk about ownership of something that is free, hence the quotation marks around "owners".
Firefox + adblock extension + noscript extension= no adds
Btw, on my firefox mmo-champion dont have any add even curse.com logo on bottom is removed... in my eyes adblock and noscript programers are gods
Okay so uhm.. Im over halfway done with Insane in the Membrane.. I need Ravenholdt (11999/12k), and Darkmoon Faire (100 Decks or so).. Am I able to get those in Cataclysm? Or have all of my time invested in this Feat of Strength been wasted?
And hopefully it's going to look better - wowwiki looked like shit. Light colored letters on a dark background? What idiot did that. (And don't say change the themes, most pages became invisible if you tried to change the theme, since the colors were hardcoded to ignore the theme)
mhm i smell a traitor that copied all wowwiki files to his hard disk...
I hope I'm not the only one to realize this, but the Cataclysm portal of Wowpedia is really outdated...at least on the Hunter page. A lot of the ability tooltips are either from like when they were first announced, or they're just plain out wrong.
Also, new loot = wantttttt
Really sucks that they will be removing insane in the membrane, well some of the factions anyway so it no longer is completable.
I am missing ravenholdt and darkmoon faire (both honored), and I am trying to get it done before cataclysm. I didnt really stress with it before, but now I will, who knows if they will just say screw it and remove all the reputations related to it.
