    2. Why is Genn so slow?
    3. A torch to set a City of stone on fire...
    4. Doesn't the City have firefighters? Why does Jaina need to put that out
    5. Why isn't jainy icelancing the group and then saves the city, that is 1 global cooldown more.

So the whole escape stoy is way to heavy on extreme characters that should be able to deal with the situation, rather than being so bad at it.
They should have chosen lesser characters for the szenario would look less forced.

1: Because he's the glorious Boy King!
2: Because he's old, quite old
3: It's not like the entire city is made of stone. Wooden doors, roofs, wood panels, wooden floors etc.
4: Probably yes, but those still need to be alerted first, and an Arch-Mage is most likely more efficient at putting out a fire than a few mortals with buckets
    5: Gameplay doesn't equal story

It's a szenario of a few minutes which is what it is, a short intro sequence. Why should blizzard blow it up just to make it more realistic while spending tons of working hours for this piece of content?

1.) because players love to see the big characters doing stuff. That's it, probably. Compare it with the Alliance intro where big names are missing and people call it lame...
2.) dramatization? maybe he was too sure of himself, knowing that Jaina comes from the other direction and they would trap the escapees between them while they fight with the other troups.
3.) as I stated earlier: roofs, interiors,.. all made of wood. Also precognition powers, which tell you what to expect for dropping a torch at a certain place
4.) a huge part of the city is on fire and god knows who is in danger in those moments; no time to wait for others who aren't visible from her point of view
    5.) what Venziir said

Why are people so eager to overanalyze a comical game world? The whole world makes no sense. Ships are bigger than towers, camping fires don't set a wooden room on fire, AoE doesn't hurt allies and dragon corpses don't smash players.

Overanalyzing a comical fantasy game doesn't make any sense at all. What do you get out of it? WoW is a freaking video game, gameplay first while overlaying a rough storytelling aspect. If you'd have to explain everything that happens in this szenario, you would spend hours of cutscenes which would absolutely add nothing to the game experience.

also... just because stuff happens off-screen, doesn't mean that things make no sense.
